Clase-A is a reggaeton and general Latin American musical duo, currently made up of Freddie Rives Gonzalez (El Pinareño), born the 19th of May, 1988, in the Cuban province of Pinar del Río, and Ricardo Enrique Estévez López (Ricky Guay), also born in Cuba (Havana) the 16th of October, 1989. The duo was created by El Pinareño in February 2008 in Tenerife (Canary Islands).
This first member to join him was Joelvis Batista Valero (YoelB), with whom he worked for just over a year. Subsequently, towards the end of November 2009, a new member arrived, Ricky Guay, who El Pinareño met through the music industry as a soloist in other musical projects. Although the musical duo’s career thus far has been short, and a lot remains for them to cover, they have already had the opportunity to work with important figures in the Cuban musical world such as: El Chacal and Yakarta, Los Van Van, Gente de Zona, Yulién Oviedo and El Micha, amongst others.
The irrefutable talent of these artists, together with the support that they have received from their audience, have made it possible for the duo to keep moving through the musical world, day after day, as they have shown in various provinces in countries such as Italy and Spain. With songs like “Soy de la calle”, “Apaga la luz” and “Quién te dijo”, Clase-A have become well-known in different areas of the world , having made their mark and creating their own niche in the urban Latin American world.

Clase-A es un dúo de reggaetón y música latina en general, compuesto actualmente por Freddie Rives Gonzalez (El Pinareño), nacido el 19 de mayo de 1988 en la provincia de Pinar del Río (Cuba), y Ricardo Enrique Estévez López (Ricky Guay), también nacido en Cuba el 16 de octubre de 1989 en La Habana.
El dúo fue creado por El Pinareño en febrero del año 2008 en Tenerife(Islas Canarias). En aquel entonces su otro integrante era Joelvis Batista Valero (YoelB), con el cual estuvo trabajando poco mas de 1 año. Posteriormente a finales de noviembre del año 2009 el nuevo integrante comienza a ser Ricky Guay, quién se encontraba trabajando como solista en otros proyectos musicales. Aunque la carrera musical del dúo es corta y aun les queda mucho camino por recorrer, ya han tenido la oportunidad de trabajar con figuras importantes de la música cubana como son: El Chacal y Yakarta, Los Van Van, Gente de Zona, Yulién Oviedo y El Micha entre otros.
El indiscutible talento de estos artistas junto al apoyo que han recibido por parte de su audiencia, han hecho posible que el dúo siga abriendose paso día tras día en el mundo de la música, así lo han dejado demostrado en varias provincias de paises como Italia y España. Con canciones como “Soy de la calle”, “Apaga la luz” y “Quién te dijo”, Clase-A se ha dado a conocer en diferentes lugares del mundo, marcando su sello y creando su propio espacio en la música urbana latina.
