Sharon Stone is suing a Hollywood producer for $500,000 claiming he pressured her to ignore her instincts and falsify travel documents for Cuba for a movie about Ernest Hemingway.
The mogul, meanwhile, told the Daily News Wednesday that he’s filing a counter lawsuit against Stone Thursday for breach of contract.
“I’m very disappointed,” producer Bob Yari told The News. “It’s a situation where she gave me her word, and we shut a film down in December 2012 to accommodate her and then two months away from the shooting date, she demanded almost double the amount agreed to.”

Stone, 55, states in her lawsuit filed in Los Angeles that she agreed to play Ernest Hemingway’s wife Mary in the new movie “Papa,” also starring Giovanni Ribisi and Minka Kelly, and had every intention of following through with her contract.
The blond bombshell claims Yari reneged on her payment of $500,000 because she refused to say her travel was for a “cultural endeavor.”

“NO ONE has EVER been jailed for travel to Cuba,” Yari reportedly told Stone in an email, according to the lawsuit first obtained by TMZ.com.
Stone and her lawyer Marty Singer claim Yari is recasting the role and wants the actress to return a custom wig that was commissioned for the part.
It has not been recast,” Yari told The News Wednesday.
“It was a difference in opinion: we claimed she could travel, she didn’t feel comfortable. However, that’s irrelevant because we ultimately said fine, and we shut down at great cost, came back to the U.S. and got the license she wanted, all in coordination with her schedule,” he claimed.
Yari said Stone later demanded that her contract — which was $200,000 in fixed compensation and $300,000 for publicity — get bumped up by another $250,000.
“Our breach of contract lawsuit is prepared. I guess we have to file it now,” he said.
