El XX encuentro de academias de ballet reunirá en Cuba a participantes de 14 países.
El XX Encuentro Internacional de Academias de Ballet de La Habana reunirá a participantes de 14 países, del 12 al 26 de este mes, informaron hoy sus organizadores.
Unos 500 bailarines de México, Argentina, Estados Unidos, Brasil, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Italia, Perú, República Dominicana, Sudáfrica, Venezuela y Cuba se reunirán en la cita, según anunció la directora de la Escuela Nacional de Ballet (ENB) de la isla, Ramona de Saá.
El certamen estará dedicado al bailarín y profesor Fernando Alonso (1914-2013), uno de los fundadores de la escuela cubana de ballet, que falleció el año pasado.

De Saá dijo que coreógrafos, profesores y bailarines han mostrado su interés por el intercambio profesional y académico que se producirá durante este encuentro académico en La Habana.
Como novedad en esta edición, resaltó los talleres de crítica de danza, que impartirán el cubano Pedro González y el venezolano Carlos Paolillo, así como el titulado “Diseñando la danza junto a los nuevos medios audiovisuales” y el primer concurso para jóvenes críticos de arte.
El programa del evento incluye clases magistrales sobre la metodología de la preparación física y la enseñanza de la escuela cubana de ballet y otras que se referirán al repertorio, las danzas de carácter, composición, coreografía y teatro infantil, entre otras temáticas.
En esta edición también se efectuará un concurso internacional, por primera vez con participación de niños, que reconocerá a los 16 mejores bailarines de todas las categorías, entregará un “Grand Prix”, los galardones “Revelación” y premiará a las mejores interpretaciones individuales y de pareja entre otros actos.

INTERNATIONAL BALLET ACADEMIES dedicate its XX Meeting to Fernando Alonso.
The XX International Meeting of Ballet Academies of Havana bring together participants from 14 countries , from 12 to 26 this month, organizers said Monday .
Some 500 dancers from Mexico , Argentina , USA, Brazil , Bolivia , Colombia , Ecuador , Guatemala , Italy, Peru , Dominican Republic , South Africa, Venezuela and Cuba will meet in the meeting, announced the director of the National Ballet School ( ENB) on the island, Ramona de Saa .
The event will be dedicated to the dancer and Fernando Alonso (1914-2013) , one of the founders of the Cuban school of ballet, who died last year.

De Saa said choreographers , teachers and dancers have shown interest in the professional and academic exchange that will occur during this academic meeting in Havana.
New to this edition , highlighted workshops dance critic , who taught the Cuban Pedro González and Carlos Paolillo and the entitled “Designing dance with New Media ” and the first competition for young art critics .
The event program includes lectures on the methodology of the physical training and instruction of the Cuban school of ballet and others that relate to the repertoire , character dances , composition , choreography and children’s theater, among other topics .
In this edition, an international competition was also made for the first time involving children , which recognize the top 16 dancers of all categories will be given a ” Grand Prix ” awards “Revelation” and reward the best individual performances and partner among other acts.
