Los Marineros de Seattle volvieron a adquirir el jueves al primera base Kendrys Morales en un canje con los Mellizos de Minnesota por el lanzador de ligas menores Stephen Pryor, reporta la AP.
El cubano pasó siete semanas con los Mellizos, quienes lo firmaron para reforzar su alineación como bateador designado, pero lo utilizaron frecuentemente como primera base luego de que Joe Mauer se lesionó. Morales tuvo un promedio de bateo de .234 en 39 partidos, con 11 dobles, un cuadrangular y 18 carreras producidas.
Morales pegó 23 jonrones e impulsó 80 carreras el año pasado con los Marineros.
Pryor, de 25 años, lanzó en 34 juegos con los Marineros desde 2012 y tiene un promedio de efectividad de 2.81. Se reportará al equipo Triple A de Rochester.
Los Mellizos también ascendieron al jardinero dominicano Jorge Polanco de Fort Myers.

The Seattle Mariners on Thursday re-acquired first baseman Kendrys Morales in a trade with the Minnesota Twins for minor league pitcher Stephen Pryor, reports the AP.
Cuban spent seven weeks with the Twins, who signed him to bolster their lineup as a designated hitter, but often used as a first baseman after Joe Mauer was injured. Morales had a .234 batting average in 39 games, with 11 doubles, a homer and 18 RBIs.
Morales hit 23 homers and drove in 80 runs last year with the Mariners.
Pryor, 25, pitched in 34 games with the Mariners since 2012 and has an ERA of 2.81. He will report to Triple-A Rochester.
The Twins also promoted outfielder Jorge Polanco of Fort Myers.
