Como si se tratara de enfermos graves, un lote de langostas y camarones fue descubierto en días pasados viajando con toda urgencia a bordo de una ambulancia, hacia un punto desconocido.
No hay dudas de que los cubanos que gustan de los mariscos, ausentes del mercado nacional; o quienes abastecen la bolsa negra, se ponen cada día más creativos para eludir a las autoridades.

La noticia, publicada por el diario Granma, órgano oficial del Partido Comunista de Cuba, fue escrita por Ortelio González Martínez, a propósito de la pesca ilegal en las represas y costas marinas de la provincia de Ciego de Avila.
“Autoridades del territorio que se dedican a poner coto a las ilegalidades han debido actuar, desde el decomiso de cientos de metros de paños de redes, de chinchorros, hasta la confiscación de 122 kilogramos de camarón y 50 de langosta en una ambulancia”, afirmó González.
El periodista calificó a los pescadores sin licencia de “enemigos internos contra los cuales hay que arreciar la lucha”.
“Aunque las redes del control van cerrándose y atenazan las ilegalidades, todavía existen agujeros negros por donde escapan los productos del mar”, se lamentó González.
La pesca de langosta, camarones y otros crustáceos, es considerada ilegal para la mayoría de los pescadores, tengan licencia o sean furtivos. Esa actividad está reservada para las embarcaciones de las cooperativas estatales o privadas, obligadas a vender sus capturas al Estado para su exportación o consumo en los centros turísticos de la isla.

The news, published by the newspaper Granma, the official organ of the Communist Party of Cuba, was written by Ortelio González Martínez, concerning illegal fishing in dams and shoreline of the province of Ciego de Avila.
“Authorities territory devoted to curb illegalities had to perform, from the seizure of hundreds of meters of cloths networks, hammocks, to the seizure of 122 kilograms of shrimp and 50 lobster in an ambulance,” he said González.
The journalist described the unlicensed fishermen “internal enemies against whom we must intensify the struggle.”

The lobster, shrimp and other crustaceans, is considered illegal for most fishermen are licensed or poachers. That activity is reserved for ships of state or private cooperatives to sell their catch to the State for export or consumption in tourist centers of the island.
