LA HISTORIA DE EMILIO Y GLORIA ESTEFAN “ON YOUR FEET” A BROADWAY.
El musical “On Your Feet”, que llevará a Broadway la historia de Gloria y Emilio Estefan, se estrenará en noviembre de 2015 en el teatro Marquis de Nueva York, anunciaron este lunes los productores del espectáculo, según EFE.
El musical, que estará dirigido por el ganador de dos premios Tony, Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots y Hairspray), se estrenará el 5 de noviembre en la Gran Manzana después de un mes de pases previos y tras su estreno mundial en Chicago en junio.
“Encontrar a los actores adecuados para contar nuestra historia en Broadway es el paso más importante de este proyecto”, aseguró Gloria Estefan sobre el musical, que será coreografiado por Sergio Trujillo y con guión de Alexander Dinelaris.
Nederlander Organization y Estefan Enterprises explicaron en un comunicado que se hará un casting internacional para buscar a los actores y actrices que participarán en el show e invitan a los candidatos a enviar vídeos a la web www.OnYourFeetMusical.com.
Los productores detallaron también que se harán dos audiciones públicas, una en el Pearl Studios de New York el próximo 9 de septiembre, y otra en el Knight Concert Hall de Miami el próximo 21 de septiembre.
“Hemos visto a gente desde Suramérica hasta Asia conmovida con nuestra música y queremos que todo el mundo tenga la oportunidad de formar parte de esta historia y demostrar su talento al mundo”, añadió, por su parte, Emilio Estefan.
On Your Feet narrará su vida desde sus experiencias en su Cuba natal hasta su consolidación como referentes de la música latina. Estefan gestionó la carrera de su esposa y de otras estrellas como Shakira, Ricky Martin, Jennifer López, Marc Anthony o Jon Secada.

EMILIO AND GLORIA ESTEFAN STORY “ON YOUR FEET” GO TO BROADWAY.
The musical “On Your Feet”, which take the Broadway story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan, will premiere in November 2015 at the Marquis Theatre in New York, said Monday the show’s producers, according to EFE.
The musical, which will be headed by the winner of two Tony, Jerry Mitchell awards (Kinky Boots and Hairspray), will be released on November 5th in the Big Apple after a month of previous passes, and following its world premiere in Chicago in June.
“Finding the right actors to tell our story on Broadway is the most important step of this project,” said Gloria Estefan on the musical, which will be choreographed by Sergio Trujillo and written by Alexander Dinelaris.
Nederlander Organization and Estefan Enterprises explained in a statement that an international casting to find actors and actresses to participate in the show and invite candidates to submit videos to the web www.OnYourFeetMusical.com will.
Producers also detailed two public hearings, one in the Pearl Studios in New York on 9 September, and another in the Knight Concert Hall in Miami on Sept. 21 will be made.
“We’ve seen people moved from South America to Asia with our music and we want everyone to have the opportunity to be part of this history and show their talent to the world,” he added, meanwhile, Emilio Estefan.
On Your Feet narrate his life from his experiences in his native Cuba until its consolidation as referents of Latin music. Estefan managed the career of his wife and other stars like Shakira, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Jon Secada.
