El Departamento de Estado norteamericano concedio visas de visitas a los EEUU a varios miembros de la familia cubana de los Castros que ocupan posiciones relevantes en la actual administracion actual en Cuba, lo que trajo como consecuencia la protesta airada de la congresista cubana-americana Ileana Ros Lehtinen quien lo califico como “..una ofensa a los principios de la libertad y democracia y urjo a la Administración a que cambie su decisión “.
Según la presidenta del Subcomité del Medio Oriente y África del Norte del Congreso de Estados Unidos, los tres favorecidos serían Mariela Castro Espín, hija de Raúl Castro y directora del Centro Nacional de Educación Sexual; Josefina Vidal, directora de América del Norte de la Cancillería cubana, y Antonio Castro Soto del Valle, hijo de Fidel Castro.
Castro Espín habría recibido una visa para participar en reuniones en Nueva York y en Naciones Unidas; Vidal planea visitar al espía Antonio Guerrero y Castro Soto del Valle pretende acudir a la Serie Mundial de las Ligas Menores y a reuniones con representantes de Grandes Ligas.
Segun la congresista cubano-americana Ros- Lehtinen “Un voto ‘no’ sin importancia en el falso parlamento cubano, hecho por Mariela Castro, no engaña a nadie”, advirtió la congresista, en referencia a la negativa de la hija de Raúl Castro a aprobar una seccion del nuevo Código del Trabajo que se aprobo en la legislacion cubana 611-1.

US APPROVED VISAS TO CASTRO FAMILY TO VISIT THE US.
The American State Department granted visas for visits to the USA several members of the Castros Cuban family occupied prominent positions in the current administration in Cuba today, which resulted in the angry protest of the Cuban-American Congresswoman Ileana Ros Lehtinen who qualify as “..una offense to the principles of freedom and democracy and urge the Administration to change its decision.”
According to the president of the Sub-Middle East and Africa North of the United States Congress, the three would be favored Mariela Castro, daughter of Raul Castro and director of the National Center for Sex Education; Josefina Vidal, director of the Cuban Foreign Ministry’s North America, and Antonio Castro Soto del Valle, son of Fidel Castro.
Castro Espín had received a visa to attend meetings in New York and at the United Nations; Plan to visit the spy Vidal Antonio Guerrero and Castro Soto del Valle intended to go to the World Series of Little League and meetings with representatives of Major League Baseball.
