CUBA LANZA AL MERCADO TURÍSTICO INTERNACIONAL LOS NUEVOS PERFUMES “HUGO” y “ERNESTO’.
Glow’ de J-Lo, ‘J’ de Jennifer Aniston, ‘Heat’ de Beyonce, ‘Intimately Beckham’ de David Beckham…la lista de celebridades que tienen sus propios perfumes es cada vez más larga. Parece que si quieres ser miembro de la lista A de Hollywood, es imprescindible tener una botella de fragancia que lleve tu nombre.
Ahora se pueden añadir dos nombres inesperados a este grupo de figuras conocidas con una marca de fragancia: Hugo Chávez y Ernesto “Che” Guevara.
En una convención en La Habana, la empresa cubana Labiofam, que produce medicinas homeopáticas y productos de limpieza, ha lanzado dos nuevas aguas de colonia para hombres: ‘Hugo’, por el difunto líder de la revolución bolivariana en Venezuela, y ‘Ernesto’ por el difunto Comandante de la revolución cubana, Ernesto “Che” Guevara asesinado en Bolivia.
“Estos nombres salieron de una encuesta que se realizó en una exposición donde llevamos las fragancias con vistas a que el público decidiera como podían ligarlo a nombres de personalidades internacionales” explica a BBC Mundo Mario Valdés, director del grupo de investigación y desarrollo en Labiofam que diseñó los perfumes.
‘Hugo’ tiene “fragancias cítricas y esencias maderables que dan una expresión de masculinidad”, dice Valdés, mientras ‘Ernesto’ “tiene algo de esencias frutales” con elementos de “roble, que le da el sentido varonil”.
Por ahora, ambas colonias están en botellas genéricas con etiquetas provisionales que solo llevan el nombre del perfume. Pero pronto Labiofam quiere darles un mercadeo más sofisticado.
Que dirian los difuntos?
Con tanta mercancía en América Latina que lleva el nombre de Hugo Chávez o la imagen omnipresente de Che Guevara, la dirección del grupo empresarial buscó el consentimiento tanto de la familia Chávez como de los familiares de Ernesto Guevara para nombrar estas fragancias. Todo en este mundo se comercializa y trae dividendos capitalistas… Que Pena! (AV).
y continua una justificación muy objetiva y retrograda…“El objetivo de poner estos nombres ha sido ni mas ni menos que el de rendir.. un homenaje. Que ellos pueden perdurar en la historia con estos perfumes con nombres de estas dos personalidades que representan mucho para América,” explica Valdés.
En cuestión de clientes, Labiofam espera poder sacar ‘Hugo’ y ‘Ernesto’ al mercado en el primer semestre de 2015 y será destinado principalmente a la población cubana primeramente para luego comercializarlas internacionalmente.
Después de probar ambos, personalmente prefiero el olor de ‘Hugo’ que el almizcle de ‘Ernesto’ pero es obviamente cuestión de gustos. La empresa tiene mucha confianza en que al publico cubano les gustará.
En una encuesta breve en la sala de perfumes del evento, parece que el concepto fue bien recibido: “Grandioso, una idea maravillosa”, dice Armando, un fisioterapeuta que visitaba el simposio. “Los compraría. Son, diría yo, dos grandes personalidades del mundo”.
Mercedes, un intérprete que está trabajando en el evento estuvo de acuerdo: “Claro que sí me los compraría. De hecho, estoy esperando (que salgan pronto al mercado)”.
“Tratándose del Comandante Hugo Chávez y el Comandante Ernesto Guevara me imagino que serán perfumes excelentes”, dice con una sonrisa (picaresca diria yo. (AV).
Críticos dirían que tener un perfume con su nombre no era exactamente lo que Ernesto Guevara tenía en mente cuando entró a La Habana victorioso en 1959.
Y continua….Mercedes no lo ve así. “Yo pienso que quizás es la oportunidad que tiene este sector de la ciencia de tributarles un homenaje a estos dos grandísimos hombres”.
Por ahora, faltan meses para verlos en el mercado. Pero quizás llegará el día en que en los estantes de las perfumerías del mundo, al lado del ‘Hugo’ de Hugo Boss se encontrara el ‘Hugo’ de Hugo Chávez.
El perfume ‘Ernesto’ es descrito como más “amaderado y dulce”, mientras que ‘Hugo’ “tiene un olor más suave, a frutos tropicales y se percibe menos penetrante”.
NOTA: Varios días después de la información dada a conocer a toda la prensa internacional, el único diario oficial de PCC, Granma, publicó una nota rechazando el informe:
“El gobierno de Raúl Castro censuró este sábado la actitud “irresponsable” de una empresa estatal cubana que presentó dos perfumes bajo las marcas de “Ernesto” y “Hugo”, pretendiendo honrar al ex presidente venezolano Hugo Chávez y al mítico guerrillero Ernesto Guevara, y prometió sancionar a los responsables.
“Por ese grave error serán tomadas las medidas disciplinarias que correspondan”, pues “iniciativas de esa naturaleza no serán aceptadas jamás por nuestro pueblo ni por el gobierno revolucionario”, señaló el Consejo de Ministros, que preside Raúl Castro, en un comunicado publicado por el diario oficial Granma”.
