El Gobierno de Cuba ampliará salas de Internet y puntos de Wi-FI.
La Habana- El gobierno de Cuba anunció que ampliará las salas de navegación de Internet para el 2015 y creara puntos de acceso WI-FI para conexión inalámbrica. El aumento de la conectividad a Internet para el 2015 parece ser parte del acuerdo entre Cuba y Estados Unidos en el mejoramiento de las relaciones bilaterales según informaron medios de prensa.
Al aumento de las conocidas salas de navegación que cobran $4.50 CUC por hora de conexión a Internet se sumaran puntos de conexión inalámbrica WI-FI en áreas públicas aunque se desconoce los lugares y el precio que tendrá la conexión.
El gobierno de la isla no dio una fecha para cuando Internet llegará a los hogares de los cubanos, aclaro que aún las condiciones no están creadas para dar Internet a todos y se mantendrá solo para algunos profesionales y trabajadores autorizados por el gobierno, en la misma forma que ha mantenido el sistema de control total de los medios de difusion.

The Government of Cuba will expand Internet rooms and Wi-FI points throughout the country was announced.
