The plan of the US government was to have an embassy in Cuba before the Summit of the Americas next April 10 but apparently the White House officials do not believe that is possible.
Ben Rhodes, deputy national security adviser to Obama, said the White House looks unlikely to have an embassy in Cuba before next weekend. Obama adviser who was part of the secret negotiations also said the decision to remove Cuba from the list of state sponsors of terrorism not happen so fast.
Ben Rhodes confirmed reports circulating that say Obama and Raul Castro interact during the Summit of the Americas.

Casa Blanca ve poco probable tener embajada en Cuba antes de la Cumbre de las Américas
El plan del gobierno de Estados Unidos era tener una embajada en Cuba antes de la Cumbre de las Américas el próximo 10 de abril pero al parecer funcionarios de la Casa Blanca no creen que será posible.
Ben Rhodes, asesor adjunto de seguridad nacional de Obama, dijo que la Casa Blanca ve poco probable tener una embajada en Cuba antes del próximo fin de semana. El asesor de Obama que formo parte de las negociaciones secretas también dijo que la decisión de sacar a Cuba de la lista de patrocinadores del terrorismo tampoco pasaría tan rápido.
