The Cuban government has announced the creation of the Union of Information of Cuba (UIC), a new partnership instrument to serve the interests of the regime.
As a condition of membership in the organization, which has opened a registration period until 15 July, is to defend and live by the principles of “socialist society”.
The organization “is based on the firm unity of all its members about the social project and the economic model promoted by the Cuban Revolution,” reports the Ministry of Communications.
The code of ethics that the members must agree to set the duties and prohibitions for those who aspire to join the new organization.

El Gobierno cubano ha anunciado la creación de la Unión de Informáticos de Cuba (UIC), un nuevo instrumento asociativo al servicio de los intereses del régimen.
Como condición para pertenecer a la organización, que tiene abierto un período de inscripciones hasta el 15 de julio, es defender y vivir de acuerdo con los principios de una “sociedad socialista”.
La organización “se basa en la más firme unidad de todos sus miembros en torno al proyecto social y el modelo económico impulsado por la Revolución Cubana”, informa el Ministerio de Comunicaciones.
El código ético que los integrantes deben aceptar establece los deberes y prohibiciones para los que aspiren a integrarse en la nueva organización.
