LA HAVANA PREVENTS CELEBRATION “GAY PRIDE” DAY ACTIVITY.
The regime prevented Sunday the celebration of an independent activity within the Gay Pride Day which was organized by the Foundation of Cuba Reflections, not recognized by the authorities of the island.
Agents of the State Security intercepted the event organizer, Navid Fernández, at the gates of his house at about eight in the morning when he was preparing to go to Havana Vieja to start the activity, scheduled for 10 am.
Fernandez told DIARIO DE CUBA people who intercepted it seemed they had spent all night watching his home and intercept indicated that he could not attend the event scheduled on the Paseo del Prado.
The gay activist had called a puppet through which a message on the rights of the LGBT community vehicularía. In addition to prevent him leaving home, the activist adds that because he was held incommunicado interrupted for four hours, the communications both landline and mobile.
Fernandez recalled that this alternative Gay Pride march celebrating independent entities is carried out since 2011 and so far had allowed.
In Cuba, only the official activities organized by the National Center for Sexual Education (CENESEX), which directs Mariela Castro, daughter of Gen. Raul Castro allowed.

LA HABANA IMPIDE CELEBRACION DEL DIA “ORGULLO GAY”.
El régimen impidió este domingo la celebración de una actividad independiente en el marco del Día del Orgullo Gay que había sido convocada por la Fundación Reflejos de Cuba, no reconocida por las autoridades de la Isla.
Agentes de la Seguridad del Estado interceptaron al organizador del evento, Navid Fernández, a las puertas de su casa sobre las ocho de la mañana cuando se disponía a ir hacia La Habana Vieja para iniciar la actividad, prevista sobre las 10 am.
Fernández explicó a DIARIO DE CUBA que las personas que le interceptaron parecía que habían pasado toda la noche vigilando su domicilio y que al interceptarle le indicaron que no podía asistir al evento previsto en el Paseo del Prado.
El activista gay había convocado un espectáculo de marionetas a través del cual se vehicularía un mensaje sobre los derechos de la comunidad LGBT. Además de impedirle salir de casa, el activista añade que estuvo incomunicado porque le interrumpieron por espacio de cuatro horas las comunicaciones tanto del teléfono fijo como el móvil.
Fernández recordó que esta marcha alternativa del Orgullo Gay que celebran entidades independientes se lleva a cabo desde 2011 y hasta ahora la habían permitido.
En la Isla, solo se permiten actividades organizadas desde la oficialidad del Centro Nacional de Educación Sexual (CENESEX), que dirige Mariela Castro, hija del general Raúl Castro.
