Los púgiles cubanos Arlen López, Erislandy Savon y Joahnys Argilagos, conquistaron el pase a las finales del Mundial de Doha tras imponerse este domingo en sus respectivos combates semifinales.
López, medalla de oro de los 75 kilogramos en los Juegos Panamericanos de Toronto-2015, se impuso con propiedad (3-0) al egipcio Hosan Abdin, quien llego a Doha con su flamante corona africana, y no pudo descifrar el boxeo del cubano.
De esta forma, López se clasificó para la final, que disputará el próximo 14 de octubre contra el uzbeko Bektemir, titular de Asia.
En la categoría de 91 kilogramos no se produjeron sorpresas, el favorito Savón, campeón continental, igualmente derrotó 3-0 al azerbaiyano Abdulkadir Abdullayev.
