Nació el 25 de marzo de 1971 en La Habana, Cuba. En su carrera ha interpretado diferentes personajes en los distintos medios. Ha obtenido diferentes premios, entre ellos el Caricato en varias ocasiones.
En 1975, a los 4 años de edad, inicia su carrera como actriz en la televisión interpretando personajes en cuentos, teleteatros, series y novelas como: Ramona, La capitana del Caribe, Papeles secretos, Una cerca entre dos mundos, Cumbres borrascosas y otras. Sus trabajos en la televisión, en las series: Los Papaloteros, Pasión y Prejuicio, Las huérfanas de la Obraría y Lo que me queda por vivir, le han proporcionado una gran popularidad entre el público cubano.
Radio
En 1990, ya como actriz profesional, protagoniza en la radio varias novelas como: El Callejón de la Esperanza, Intolerancia, Azúcar, canela y miel, entre otras.
Teatro
Ha incursionado también en el teatro, donde se destaca su papel en la obra Historia de una escalera de Antonio Buero Vallejo.
Cine
En 1996, se produjo su debut en el cine, como protagonista junto a Jorge Perugorría del filme Amor Vertical, dirigido por Arturo Sotto. Su segundo papel al lado del astro cubano Jorge Perugorria, es en 2007: “La noche de los inocentes”, nuevamente bajo la dirección de Arturo Sotto Diaz, dicha película fué premiada en Cannes y despertó gran interés en algunos otros festivales. El más reciente de sus trabajos como protagonista fue “Los Dioses Rotos” en 2009, muy elogiada por la prensa especializada. Ha realizado doblajes de voces en películas de dibujos animados, telenovelas y dibujos animados para la empresa HEKO.
