Alexander Abreu Manresa is the founder , director , composer , trumpeter and leading voice of Havana D ‘Primera . He studied at the National Art School (ENA ) and has worked with Paulo FG y su Elite, Klimax , Issac Delgado, Pachito Alonso , Los Van Van , Irakere , among others.
The grouping Havana D’Primera , established in 2007 , is characterized by musical versatility , as they often interpret both danceable as concert music, also work in accompanying soloists.
Influenced by artists such as Chucho Valdés , José Luis Cortés , Adalberto Álvarez , Juan Formell , among others , remain essentially under the roots of Afro-Cuban music , son and timba , pleasing both salsa fans and lovers of jazz.

Alexander Abreu Manresa es fundador, director, compositor, trompetista y voz líder de Havana D’ Primera. Estudió en la Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA) y ha trabajado con Paulo FG y su Elite, Klimax, Issac Delgado, Pachito Alonso, Los Van Van, Irakere, entre otros.
La agrupación Havana D’Primera, creada en 2007, se caracteriza por la versatilidad musical, ya que suelen interpretar tanto temas bailables como música de concierto, también trabajan en el acompañamiento de solistas.
Influenciados por artistas como Chucho Valdés, José Luis Cortés, Adalberto Álvarez, Juan Formell, entre otros, se mantienen esencialmente bajo las raíces de la música afrocubana, el son y la timba, complaciendo tanto al público salsero como a los amantes del jazz.
