Enrique Arredondo was born on April 2, 1906 and died on November 15, 1988 was a Cuban humorous actor who stood out in the theater and television, and also dabbled in film and radio. Barnabé, the name by which he was known in Cuba, referring to one of his most popular characters, worked from a young age in various occupations until 1923, with only 17 starts interpreting the classic Cuban Vernacular Theatre Negrito.

Enrique Arredondo nació el 2 de abril de 1906 y murió el 15 de noviembre de 1988 fue un actor humorístico cubano, que se destacó en el teatro y la televisión, y que además incursionó en el cine y la radio. Bernabé, nombre con el cual se le conoció en Cuba, en alusión a uno de sus personajes más populares, trabajó desde muy joven en diversos oficios hasta que en 1923, con sólo 17 años comienza a interpretar al clásico Negrito del Teatro Vernáculo Cubano.
