Ben Rhodes, deputy national security adviser in the White House, tweeted the news on Tuesday, shortly after Major League Baseball and the players union jointly announced that they had finalized the details to stage the match against the selection of Cuba.
Obama will arrive on March 21 to Havana for a two-day visit, the first in 88 years by a US president in active.
