Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, better known as Camila Cabello (b. March 3rd, 1997) is a member of ‘Fifth Harmony’ with Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen, and Lauren Jauregui, who originally auditioned for the X Factor out of Greensboro, North Carolina.
Born in Cojimar, Cuba as Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, she moved to the United States at the age of six. Her mother, Sinuhe, is Cuban and her father, Alejandro Cabello, is Mexican.
She’s known as the adorable and the funny one in the group. She also loves to make a lot of jokes! She is known to often have a large bow in her hair. Her mom, Sinuhe, said that instead of a traditional quinceanera party, she wanted to audition for the X Factor. She was in a relationship with singer Austin Mahone in 2014.
It has been revealed that they didn’t show her audition because X Factor didn’t have the rights to the song “R.E.S.P.E.C.T..” She stated though that when she isn’t singing, all she does is sing karaoke and watch One Direction videos. They showed this small portion in the Finals episode.
Camila sang “Back to Black” by the late Amy Winehouse during the first bootcamp task. It was not shown, but she is seen during Tara Simon’s. She is also seen saying “I’m so jittery” in the beginning of the episode. On her second bootcamp task, she performs the song Your Song by Elton John against competitor Jordan Shane. She was later eliminated by the judges and is seen crying and being hugged by possibly her mother. After elimination, Camila was called back to the stage and was put into Fifth Harmony.
At the judges’ home the girls performed “Impossible” by Shontelle. After the performance Simon Cowell has said that Impossible was actually the reason he fell in love with the group.
Known as the “funny one” in the group and for her jazzy-style vocals, Camila and the girls took on songs that allowed them to showcase their vocal abilities. Despite LA Reid and Britney Spears not loving them as much as the other judges during the competition, the Fifth Harmony girls wowed the public enough to get voted through every week and had the support and confidence of their mentor Simon Cowell, who adored them and never had a problem telling them how proud he was of them.
In November 2015, Camila released her first single away from the group titled “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, a duet with Canadian singer Shawn Mendes, it debuted at number 97 on the Billboard Hot 100.
It has since peaked at 20, and was certified Platinum in February 2016.

Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, mejor conocida como Camila Cabello (b. El 3 de marzo de 1997) es un miembro de ‘la Quinta Armonía’ con Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen y Lauren Jauregui, que al principio hizo una prueba para el X Factor de Greensboro, Carolina del Norte.
Nacido en Cojimar, Cuba como Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, se trasladó a los Estados Unidos a la edad de seis años. Su madre, Sinuhe, es cubana y su padre, Alejandro Cabello, es mexicano.
Se conoce como el adorable y el gracioso en el grupo. ¡También ama hacer muchas bromas! Se conoce que tiene a menudo un arco grande en su pelo. Su mamá, Sinuhe, dijo que en vez de un partido quinceanera tradicional, quiso hacer una prueba para el X Factor. Estaba en una relación con el cantante Austin Mahone en 2014.
Se ha revelado que no mostraron su prueba porque X Factor no tenía los derechos a la canción “R.E.S.P.E.C.T..” Declaró aunque que cuando no canta, todo que hace sea cantan el karaoke y miran vídeos de la Dirección. Mostraron esta pequeña parte en el episodio de Finales.
Camila cantó “Detrás al Negro” por Amy Winehouse fallecida durante la primera tarea bootcamp. No se mostró, pero se ve durante Tara Simon. También se ve diciendo que “soy tan nervioso” al principio del episodio. En su segunda tarea bootcamp, realiza la canción Su Canción por Elton John contra el competidor Jordan Shane. Fue eliminada más tarde por los jueces y se ve gritando y siendo abrazado por posiblemente su madre. Después de la eliminación, Camila se llamó a la etapa y se puso en la Quinta Armonía.
En la casa de los jueces las muchachas funcionaron “Imposible” por Shontelle. Después del rendimiento Simon Cowell ha dicho que Imposible era realmente la razón se cayó enamorado del grupo.
Conocida como la “graciosa” en el grupo y para sus vocales del estilo jazzístico, Camila y las muchachas tomaron canciones que permitieron que ellos mostraran sus capacidades vocales. A pesar de LA Reid y Britney Spears que no los ama tanto como los otros jueces durante el concurso, las Quintas muchachas de Armonía juraron el bastante público para aprobarse cada semana y tenían el apoyo y la confianza de su consejero Simon Cowell, que los adoró y nunca tenía un problema diciéndoles qué orgulloso era de ellos.
En el noviembre de 2015, Camila soltó su primer single lejos del grupo titulado “Sé Lo que Hizo el verano pasado”, un dúo con el cantante canadiense Shawn Mendes, debutó en el número 97 en la Valla publicitaria 100 Calientes.
Ha alcanzado su punto máximo desde entonces en 20 y era el Platino certificado en el febrero de 2016.
