The company Western Union (WU), a world leader in money transfer, premiered this Tuesday the services of money transfer to Cuba, through its digital page, in an attempt to facilitate the process to a new generation of customers, tech-savvy and mobile.

Western Union, represented by leading actor, Fincimex, provides services in Cuba for more than 15 years of serving Cuba and currently has a network of 420 agents, distributed in the 16 provinces of the country y168 municipalities.

La compañía Western Union (WU), líder mundial en envío de dinero, estrenó este martes los servicios de transferencia de dinero a Cuba, a través de móviles y de su página digital, en un intento por facilitar el proceso a una nueva generación de clientes conocedores de la tecnología.
“Apuramos la activación de nuestra conveniencia de transferencia de dinero digital para los remitentes en la diáspora cubana, porque conocemos de primera mano el valor de las remesas para la seguridad económica de las familias y la financiación de pequeñas empresas, dijo la presidenta de WU para las Américas y la Unión Europea, Odilon Almeida.
Los clientes que usen la aplicación móvil en Estados Unidos deben seleccionar la opción “Enviar a Cuba” para mandar la cantidad deseada y dar seguimiento al estado de la transacción. Los receptores en Cuba podrán recibir el monto en minutos y en pesos cubanos convertibles.
