Communicator, actress, singer, this young artist has experienced almost everything in her life and has left exposed his multiple talents. We speak of Zeny Leyva, a Cuban artist who has developed his artistic career in the Dominican Republic. She is best known for his performances in ‘I want to be faithful’ (2014), ‘Countess por amor’ (2010) and ‘Mi Forma de Amar’ (2013).
Zeny Leyva was born July 21, 1986 in Havana, Cuba. His family emigrated from Cuba when this was only 6 years old, looking for the freedom of a better life and better opportunities.
Almost of immediate Zeny I seek opportunities in children’s programs where dancing and singing, which include Topi-Topi, being the first in which participated with only 10 years. One of these projects was in charge, the so-called “Kanikas” and is broadcast on Mango Tv, this was only in the air for six months, in the same form was present on Saturday Chiquito, among other television shows.

A turn gave his life and career when he was preparing for the novel “Tropic”, likewise participated in “Passionate” and “Countess of love” produced by Latin Phonik, and saw in this an opportunity to dabble in acting. Comunicadora, actriz, cantante, esta joven artista ha experimentado casi en todo y ha dejado al descubierto sus múltiples talentos. Hablamos de Zeny Leyva una artista de origen cubano que ha desarrollado su carrera artística en la República Dominicana. Ella es mas conocida por sus presentaciones en ‘Quiero ser fiel’ (2014), ‘Condesa por amor’ (2010) y ‘Mi Forma de Amar’ (2013).
Zeny Leyva nació un 21 de Julio de 1986 en la Havana, Cuba. Su familia emigró de Cuba cuando esta contaba con solo 6 años de edad, buscando la libertad de una mejor vida y otras oportunidades.
Casi de inmediato Zeny busco oportunidades en programas infantiles donde bailaba y cantaba, entre los que se puede mencionar Topi-Topi, siendo el primero en el que participó con tan solo 10 años. Uno de estos proyectos estuvo a su cargo, el denominado “Kanikas” y se transmitía por Mango Tv, este solo estuvo en el aire durante seis meses, de igual forma estuvo presente en Sábado Chiquito, entre otros programas de televisión.
Pasada la niñez continúo formando parte de proyectos en los medios de comunicación, entre los que se cuenta Sábado Joven, Jamiando, Chevere Night de Finde y la conducción del espacio “Novela y Más”.
Su primera participación en el teatro fue mediante el musical “Peter Pan” de Amaury Sánchez, donde realizó el papel de Wendy. Luego formó parte de “Desnudos frente a un inspector”, “Separada del Marido”, así como en el musical “Cats”, en la teleserie juvenil, también musicalizada “Apasionados”, protagonizó uno de los capítulos de la serie “Mujeres Asesinas¨, entre otros tantos proyectos.

Un giro dio su vida y carrera cuando se estaba preparando para la novela “Trópico”, así mismo participó en “Condesa de Amor” y “Apasionados” producida por Latin Phonik, y vio en esta una oportunidad de incursionar en la actuación. La experiencia la motivo a tomar clases de actuación y apostar por esta rama del arte más en serio. Cabe destacar que también esta joven actriz participó en proyectos de cine, abriendo paso al séptimo arte con las películas “Excesos” y “I Love Bachata”.
Leyva confesó una vez preferir la actuación a la comunicación y hasta quiso dedicarse por completo a esta carrera, sin embargo, mas tarde confesó que en el país aun nadie puede sustentarse solo de la actuación.
La joven artista, se enfocó nuevamente en su faceta de comunicadora y lanzó a mediados del 2012 su propio espacio televisivo denominado “Ztop”. En el 2016 trabaja en la obra musical “Toy Aficiao” junto a Manny Cruz, J.J. Sánchez y Manolo Ozuna.
