Emilio Estefan estrenó este sábado en el Festival de Cine de Miami la película “A Change of Heart” (Un Cambio de Corazón), su primera incursión como productor en la industria cinematográfica y que ha sido rodada íntegramente en esta ciudad de Florida.
Durante la alfombra roja previa a la proyección del largometraje en la sala Olympia Theater, en el centro de la ciudad, el productor cubano destacó en declaraciones a Efe que la película manda un mensaje “muy importante” en el contexto actual de “odio y racismo”.
“Todavía existe odio, racismo y la película manda el mensaje de que la aceptación es importante”, señaló Estefan , quien a lo largo de su carrera ha trabajado en 28 películas, entre ellas “Evita”, “Pocahontas”, “Top Gun”, ya sea con papeles pequeños o como colaborador en la parte musical.
“Creo que en el mundo hace falta más amor y menos odio”, agregó, tras resaltar que los latinos aportan “cosas lindas al mundo”.
