A la edad de 99 años falleció hace pocos días en el barrio La Hata en el habanero municipio de Guanabacoa, que lo había declarado “Hijo Ilustre”, el célebre sacerdote de las religiones afrocubanas Enrique Hernández Armenteros.
Conocido popularmente como “Enriquito” o “Tata Nganga” el babalao era practicante de cuatro cultos de origen africano, principalmente el Palo Monte, procedente del Congo. según un despacho de la agencia de noticias EFE, fechado en La Habana.
