Cuba anunció este martes nuevas regulaciones para el sector de la vivienda en la Isla, uno de los más deprimidos y con precios prohibitivos para el cubano medio, que ahora podrá adquirir casas sin terminar o legalizar viviendas construidas sin la documentación establecida.
Las regulaciones, publicadas este martes en la Gaceta Oficial de la República, se deben a la necesidad de ajustar las nuevas políticas del Gobierno cubano a las “circunstancias actuales”, proceso que forma parte de las reformas impulsadas por el presidente Raúl Castro en su afán de “actualizar el modelo económico cubano”.
En las normativas destaca la venta “por una única vez” de 16.887 viviendas sociales en ejecución a ciudadanos de la Isla que puedan pagar el valor de transferencia del inmueble y lo terminen dentro de cinco años, periodo en el que se deberán habilitar y legalizar las viviendas.
De no cumplirse el plazo, el inmueble regresará al Estado, que devolverá al beneficiado el dinero pagado hasta el momento, explica Granma en un extenso artículo.
Temblor de tierra en la región oriental.
Un seísmo de 3,9 grados de magnitud en la escala de Richter fue percibido este martes en los municipios Caimanera, Guantánamo y Santiago de Cuba, en la zona suroriental de la isla, sin que se reportaran daños a personas ni materiales, informó el Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Sismológicas (Cenais).
El temblor fue localizado a 70 kilómetros al suroeste de Caimanera y a 34 kilómetros de profundidad, en las coordenadas 19.400 de latitud norte y menos 75.424 de longitud oeste, precisó el Cenais citado por la estatal Agencia Cubana de Noticias.
Se trata del séptimo temblor perceptible registrado en la Isla en lo que va de 2017, y en ese periodo el de mayor magnitud ha sido el ocurrido el 17 de enero en la localidad oriental del Uvero con una magnitud de 5,8 grados Richter, seguido de una réplica de 3,5.
