Urbas el Grupo Financiero Español ha firmado el acuerdo de intenciones y cronograma de actuaciones para ejecutar el gran proyecto turístico e inmobiliario en Cuba, que comprende la construcción de hoteles de lujo y campos de golf, entre otras instalaciones, en la ciudad de Cienfuegos, según ha informado este martes a la Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV).
Dicho trámite es un paso previo a la realización del estudio de factibilidad y el plan de negocio de cara a la constitución de la empresa mixta, hito que definirá la consolidación definitiva del proyecto y el inicio de la actividad de dicha empresa mixta, que según el cronograma firmado se prevé pueda realizarse durante el mes de abril del ejercicio 2018.
La empresa tomó para ello una participación el 30% de Caribbean Resort Cienfuegos, sociedad que ha ratificado el acuerdo de intenciones para desarrollar el proyecto con Cubagolf, firma del Ministerio de Turismo de Cuba.
El ‘macrocomplejo’ está proyectado sobre una superficie de entre 1.600 hectáreas de la península Rancho Luna-Pasacaballos.
En concreto, se plantea la construcción de una marina deportiva, seis campos de golf, seis hoteles de cinco estrellas, tres apartahoteles, 1.500 villas y 3.000 apartamentos.
