HILDA RABILERO, ACTRESS, TELEVISION HOST. (BORN IN HAVANA).
Hilda Rabilero was born in Havana, in a family of artists, the comedian’s niece Guillermo Álvarez Guedes and daughter of Eloísa, also popular Cuban national television actress and both dead.
It was presented to the tele-audience of the island by the director Pedraza Ginori, in the program Juntos a Las Nine and later to become “La Chica del Cañonazo”, until achieving national success and fame with the television program “Contacto”.
By that time Hilda studied in the School of Actors Formation, and English Language and Literature in the University of Havana and had appeared alone in the television announcing the programming.
An unpleasant event that she prefers not to remember moved away from the medium and when she graduated she worked as a translator for some years and returned to TV with a segment of fifteen minutes in the Morning Magazine.
In 1983 Hilda is called by directors of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television to conduct the Contact space, aimed at young people, which was initially broadcast Monday through Friday by channel six of Cuban television.
La Rabilero establishes master lines, mainly to prioritize the communicative spontaneity of the triangle animator-viewers and guests to the set and Contacto becomes a program of the highest quality. The space had three stages, but the second was the most successful and came to be seen by 84% of the population of the national territory, received thousands and thousands of letters, even from prisons and no longer knew where to store them.
Contacto, who left on Saturdays became the highest rating in the history of television in the Greater Antilles, thanks to the talent and naturalness of the artist. In the decade of the 80 of century XX the space obtained more than an 80 percent of hearing and in 1991 Hilda travels to the United States via Dominican Republic, with the help of its uncle Guillermo Alvarez Guedes.
Upon arriving in the United States, she maintained her trade as a star communicator. It was not until 1995 that she worked for Unión Radio, and later in the WQBA with an impressive response from the Cuban community.
In 2016 celebrates its return to the media of Miami in the channel MegaTV.
It has a calendar based on a happy idea of the photographer Alberto Romeu, who achieved a sequence of images that exploit the unknown facet of model of the outstanding animator.

Hilda Rabilero, nació en La Habana, en el seno de una familia de artistas, sobrina del humorista Guillermo Álvarez Guedes e hija de Eloísa, también popular actriz de la televisión nacional cubana y ya ambos fallecidos.
Fue presentada a la tele-audiencia de la isla por el director Pedraza Ginori, en el programa Juntos a Las Nueve para luego convertirse en “La Chica del Cañonazo”, hasta alcanzar éxito y fama nacional con el programa televisivo “Contacto”.
Por aquella época Hilda estudiaba en la Escuela de Formación de Actores, y Lengua y Literatura Inglesas en la Universidad de La Habana y había aparecido solo en la televisión anunciando la programación.
Un suceso desagradable que ella prefiere no recordar la alejó del medio y al graduarse trabajó como traductora algunos años y volvió a la TV con un segmento de quince minutos en la Revista de la Mañana.
En 1983 Hilda, es llamada por directivos del Instituto Cubano de Radio y Televisión para conducir el espacio Contacto, dirigido a los jóvenes, que se transmitió inicialmente de lunes a viernes por el canal seis de la televisión cubana.
La Rabilero establece líneas maestra, principalmente la de priorizar la espontaneidad comunicativa del triángulo animadora-televidentes e invitados al set y Contacto se convierte en un programa de primerísima calidad. El espacio tuvo en total tres etapas, pero la segunda fue la más exitosa y llegó ser visto por el 84% de la población del territorio nacional, recibía miles y miles de cartas, hasta de las cárceles y ya no se sabía dónde almacenarlas.
Contacto, que salía los sábados se convirtió en el de más alto rating en la historia de la televisión de la mayor de las Antillas, gracias al talento y la naturalidad de la artista. En la década de los 80 del siglo XX el espacio logró más de un 80 por ciento de audiencia y en 1991 Hilda viaja a Estados Unidos vía República Dominicana, con la ayuda de su tio Guillermo Álvarez Guedes.
Al llegar a Estados Unidos ella conservó su oficio de comunicadora estrella, no fue hasta 1995 que trabaja en Unión Radio, y después en la WQBA con una impresionante respuesta de la comunidad cubana.
En 2016 celebra su regreso a los medios de comunicación de Miami en el canal MegaTV.
Cuenta con un calendario a partir de una feliz idea del fotógrafo Alberto Romeu, quien logró una secuencia de imágenes que explotan la faceta desconocida de modelo de la destacada animadora.
