SPAIN COMPANY “MELIÁ” WILL BUILD NEW HOTEL IN TRINIDAD, CUBA.
Long awaited by the Cuban Ministry of Tourism and the Spaniards the construction of the Meliá Trinidad, will soon be a reality on the island.
More than 20 years have passed since the Spanish group Meliá, during one of the tourism fairs held in Havana in the late 90’s of last century, talk about the desire to build at least two large hotels on the South coast in the central region of the country: one in the area known as “Los Pinitos”, in the provincial capital of Cienfuegos, and another in Trinidad.
The latter has already abandoned the status of “chimera”, and after the signing of rigor between the association Dinvai Construcciones, an entity of the Ministry of Construction of Cuba, and the Italian company, T.O.MA. the investment process was started for the construction of the same.
The Meliá Trinidad will have more than 400 rooms, and will be located in the Trinitarian coast area, very close to the famous Ancón Hotel, where the South Coast and Trinidad del Mar also operate.
The Meliá Trinidad has been designed “with an exclusive The Level” and will have an enviable view of the sea and the mountains of the Escambray, according to Travel Trade Caribbean, an international publication for the promotion of tourism in the Caribbean region. Italy.
The hotel facility will have several themed restaurants and buffet, gym, swimming pool, spa and will offer “group facilities and incentives for weddings and honeymoons.”

Esperado por largo tiempo por el Ministerio de Turismo Cubano y los espirituanos la construcción del Meliá Trinidad, será pronto una realidad en la isla.
Más de 20 años han transcurrido desde que el grupo español Meliá, durante una de las ferias de Turismo celebradas en La Habana a finales de la década del 90 del pasado siglo, hablaran acerca del deseo de construir al menos dos grandes hoteles en la costa Sur en la región central del país: uno, en la zona conocida como “Los Pinitos”, en la cabecera provincial de Cienfuegos, y otro en Trinidad.

Este último ya abandona el status de “quimera”, y tras la firma de rigor entre la asociación Dinvai Construcciones, una entidad del Ministerio de la Construcción de Cuba, y la empresa italiana, T.O.MA. se dio por iniciado el proceso de inversión, para la construcción del mismo.
El Meliá Trinidad dispondrá de más de 400 habitaciones, y estará ubicado en la zona del litoral trinitario, muy próximo al insigne Hotel Ancón, donde funcionan además el Costa Sur y el Trinidad del Mar.

El Meliá Trinidad ha sido diseñado “con una exclusiva planta The Level” y dispondrá, además de una envidiable vista al mar y a las montañas del Escambray, según informó Travel Trade Caribbean, una publicación internacional para la promoción del turismo en la región del Caribe e Italia.
La instalación hotelera dispondrá de varios restaurantes temáticos y buffet, gimnasio, piscina, spa y ofrecerá “facilidades para grupos e incentivos para bodas y lunas de miel.”
