The continuous transmission of the Russian channel RT throughout Cuba, whose materials are currently broadcast in Multivisión and the Educational Channel, has been one of the points of the technological collaboration agreement signed this Friday by the Russian Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Media and the president of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television.
Alexander Luchaninov, deputy head of the RT radio broadcasting division in Spanish, stressed that the island is one of the channel’s priorities and that they hope “that with the signing of this agreement, the presence of RT in Cuba will be further expanded”.
For his part, the Russian deputy minister said that “it is important for us to organize a continuous transmission of the RT channel throughout Cuba, this Caribbean state has great authority in Latin America, so the transmission here is of great importance for Russia. that we can insert our channels into Cuban programming will serve to promote our ideas and our principles, based on historical relations and mutual sympathy between the two peoples. ”
This new agreement between both countries is added to others signed in various areas in recent times as part of the momentum that they are giving to their bilateral relationship.

La transmisión continua del canal ruso RT en toda Cuba, cuyos materiales actualmente se transmiten en Multivisión y el Canal Educativo, ha sido uno de los puntos del convenio de colaboración tecnológica firmado este viernes por el viceministro ruso de Telecomunicaciones y Medios de Comunicación y el presidente del Instituto Cubano de Radio y Televisión.
Alexander Luchaninov, subjefe de la dirección de radiodifusión de RT en español, destacó que la Isla es una de las prioridades del canal y que esperan “que con la firma de este acuerdo, la presencia de RT en Cuba se amplíe aún más”.
Por su parte, el viceministro ruso expresó que “es importante para nosotros organizar una transmisión continua del canal RT en toda Cuba, este Estado caribeño tiene gran autoridad en América Latina, por lo que la transmisión aquí es de gran importancia para Rusia. El hecho de que podamos insertar nuestros canales en la programación cubana servirá para promover nuestras ideas y nuestros principios, partiendo de las relaciones históricas y la simpatía mutua entre los dos pueblos”.
Este nuevo acuerdo entre ambos países se suma a otros firmados en diversas áreas en los últimos tiempos como parte del impulso que están dando a su relación bilateral.
