El director de la Oficina de Transmisiones hacia Cuba (OCB, por sus siglas en inglés) de EE UU, Tomás Regalado, anunció este lunes que Radio y Televisión Martí se verá pronto en toda Cuba sin interferencias y en alta definición, señalando que en unos seis meses y gracias a la labor de jóvenes ingenieros cubanos habrá una “penetración total en todo el territorio de Cuba” de los dos medios, entre lo que se incluye además una nueva frecuencia de onda corta.

El también exalcalde de Miami dijo que la transmisión, que rompe el “bloqueo informativo del régimen cubano” impuesto a su pueblo, se ha logrado gracias a una tecnología creada por ingenieros radicados en la Isla, con la asesoría de expertos en Miami, que multiplicará la señal de Televisión Martí y podrá llevarla a numerosos aparatos receptores de la nación. “Está permitiéndonos llevar nuestra señal sin que el régimen de Raúl Castro pueda interferirla, y no lo puede hacer porque es una tecnología que no existía y como no la conoce es casi imposible que pueda bloquearla” dijo.
