La cantante cubana Camila Cabello actuó por primera vez en Puerto Rico como solista con un concierto este martes en el que interpretó 16 temas y fue aplaudida por miles de fanáticos durante más dos horas.

“Gracias Puerto Rico son los mejores del mundo. Hay un poema que dice ‘Cuba y Puerto Rico de un pájaro las dos alas’ y es así”, dijo la famosa cantante para saludar a sus seguidores puertorriqueños que corearon temas como She Loves Control, Inside Out, Bad Things y por supuesto, el megahit Havana.

“La energía de la artista cubano-estadounidense, su voz llena de matices, los bailes que demostraron su gran fortaleza física, su belleza, y el contacto en todo momento con un público en su mayoría muy joven fue lo que hizo de esta última velada una inolvidable e íntima ya que el show se presentó en la modalidad de teatro del Coliseo”, escribió el diario El Nuevo Día en una extensa crónica sobre la presentación.

La cantante agregó que para un cubano “los puertorriqueños tienen una energía, un sabor, un cariño tan grande que estoy muy contenta de estar aquí. Gracias por venir a mi concierto”.

Su presentación en suelo boricua fue el cierre de su gira Never be the same, cuyo nombre responde a una de sus canciones más populares.

En el concierto interpretó además otros temas que vienen haciéndose una presencia obligada en su repertorio como ‘Consequences, ‘All These Years’, ‘In the Dark’ y ‘Something’s Gotta Give’.

Camila Cabello había actuado en Puerto Rico por primera vez en 2014 cuando integraba el grupo Fifth Harmony, del cual se separó dos años más tarde para emprender su carrera en solitario.

Recientemente la cubana sorprendió a sus fans con el anuncio de que le gustaría volver a actuar junto a sus compañeras de Fifth Harmony y reveló una serie de requisitos para que la reunión fuera posible, entre ellos que la presentación tendría que ocurrir en el show de medio tiempo de un Super Bowl luego del transcurso de varios años.
