Maribel Rodríguez Ballesteros, nació un 4 de Diciembre de 1962 en la Habana, Cuba y es una reconocida actriz con más de 24 años de trayectoria artística, con aptitudes artísticas que sobresalían desde su corta edad.

Graduada en el Instituto Superior de Arte de La Habana y Lic. En Artes Escenicas e Instrumentista de Piano y Composición.

“Aún recuerdo con ternura y emoción que a los sólo 4 años de edad me sentaba frente al televisor y apenas cuando se presentaba algún programa donde la danza o el ballet eran los protagonistas yo me aferraba al dedo meñique de mi adorado abuelo y en puntita de pie daba vueltas y llena de alegría le dije aquella tarde “abuelito por ese cajón cuadrado algún día me verás para cantar, bailar y contar cuentos”- cuenta la talentosa cubana.

Durenta mucho tiempo dirigio un progrma infantil que se mantuvo al aire durante 18 años. En este espacio, la actriz bailaba, contaba cuentos, manejaba titeres y marionetas, cantaba canciones y tocaba el piano. Una verdadera “proeza” artistica en esa parte de su vida artistica que ha mantenido nuestra artista gracias al talento y los conocimientos artísticos que posee.

Se destaco en papeles artisticos en los Films cubanos “El Brigadista”, “Lo que Callamos” y “Tierra Brava” entre otros. Aun cuando su nombre fue borrado de los titulares cubanos al abandonar el pais hacia Mexico.

Desde su llegada a Mexico en 1995 comenzo a penetrar en sus destacadas realizaciones como actriz. He aqui un resumen de su larga carrera artistica.
