Más pronto se agarra a un mentiroso que a un cojo, reza el refrán. Pero en Cuba poco aplica, porque la mayoría de los cubanos hemos dichos una de estas mentiras al menos una vez en la vida.

1- PRESTAME.. hasta mañana

2- NOS VEMOS… a tal hora

3- ESPERAME … que voy sin falta
Aunque siempre habrá mas de uno que se quede esperando.

More soon a liar is caught than a lame, the saying goes. But in Cuba little applies, because most of the Cubans have said one of these lies at least once in their lives.

2- WE’LL SEE YOU … at such time

3- WAIT FOR ME … I’ll go for sure
Although there will always be more than one that stays waiting.
