El actor cubano regresa a la gran pantalla con un nuevo y sorprendente personaje.

Una pregunta a las fanaticas del actor Cubanoamericano William Levy. ¿A quién no le gustaría estar en sus brazos? Deducimos que a un casi 99,9 por ciento del planeta. Pues eso parece que va a poder ser posible gracias a la magia del cine. Así lo ha anunciado el propio actor que ya tiene casi lista su nueva y apasionante producción cinematográfica, ‘En brazos de un asesino’.

La cinta de suspense es una producción propia generada por el mismísimo William cuya fecha de estreno ya se está negociando con el fin de que más pronto que tarde llegue al gran público. Un sueño hecho realidad para el intérprete.

William Habla de su nueva pelicula.

“Se necesita mucho amor, mucho amor a lo que haces porque de otra no lo logras. Es tan difícil romper el hielo en ese aspecto cuando quieres producir una película de alto nivel con bajo presupuesto. Es algo muy difícil”, dijo siempre con una sonrisa en entrevista con Direct TV Latin America.

Difícil sí, imposible no. He aquí el vivo ejemplo de ello. Fascinado por el proyecto, por la historia y el potencial que tenía, se puso manos a la obra. Se trata del primer proyecto de su productora William Levy Entertainment, otra ilusión hecha realidad.

Sus manos están regadas en cada milímetro de este primer hijo cinematográfico. “Fui el que hice adaptación, primero mi socio y yo la hicimos en inglés, y luego yo hice la versión completamente en español”, continúa sobre esta historia.

Y para los que decían que William se había olvidado de su mercado latino, que tomen nota de su respuesta, porque nada que ver. “Originalmente era en inglés”, explicó, pero la cosa cambió por una buena razón. “Mi idea es concentrarme en apoyar el mercado latino”, aseveró.

Por supuesto que Hollywood sigue siendo una parte esencial en su carrera, pero el actor insiste en que no se trata de un lado u el otro, inglés o español, lo que importa es el personaje, si este es bueno, va con todas. “Yo no estoy buscando un papel en Hollywood ni ningún lugar en específico, yo estoy buscando un papel que me enamore, que me guste y me haga feliz. A estas alturas de mi vida quiero hacer cosas que me hagan feliz”, expresó sincero.

¿Y qué papel tiene él en esta historia? Pues agárrense que llegan curvas, ¡el de un villano con corazón! “Es un antihéroe, yo diría. Es un asesino que tiene un corazón y sentimientos”, concluyó. Definitivamente, nos deja con ganas de mucho más.

La película es una adaptación del libro Killing Sarai, de J.A. Redmersk, y cuanta la historia de Saraí, una joven que es entregada a un cártel de narcotráfico por su propia madre y cuando tan solo tenía 14 años, para vivir con un capo de la droga, y que a pesar de los años y sufrimiento no pierde la esperanza de huir.

El papel interpretado por Levy es el de Víctor, un asesino a sueldo que no ha conocido otra cosa en su vida y que tendrá la oportunidad de encontrar algo bueno dentro de él al cruzarse a Saraí en su camino.
