La productora Voltage Pictures finalizó los toques finales al drama internacional de acción política REDEMPTION DAY, protagonizado por Andy García, Gary Dourdan, Serinda Swan, Ernie Hudson, Martin Donovan, Samy Naceri y Brice Bexter. El Día de la Redención marca el largometraje y el debut como director de Hicham Hajji, el primer marroquí / árabe en escribir, producir y dirigir una importante película de Hollywood.
En la película marroquí, Dourdan retrata a los Estados Unidos. Capitán de marina en una misión de rescate para salvar a su esposa (Swan) cuando es secuestrada por un líder del grupo terrorista (Samy Naceri). García interpreta al embajador estadounidense en Marruecos y Brice Bexter interpreta a un agente marroquí de lucha contra el terrorismo. El embajador tendrá que ir en contra de las maniobras de su propio gobierno y un misterioso hombre poderoso que socavará su misión.

El “Día de la Redención” también está protagonizado por Ernie Hudson, Martin Donovan, Samy Naceri y Brice Bexter. Marca el largometraje y el debut como director de Hicham Hajji, quien se encuentra entre los primeros marroquíes / árabes en escribir, producir y dirigir una importante película de Hollywood.

ANDY GARCIA’S NEW MOVIE “REDEMPTION DAY” DEBUTS IN THE BIG SCREENS.
Production has wrapped on the international political-action drama REDEMPTION DAY starring Andy Garcia, Gary Dourdan, Serinda Swan, Ernie Hudson, Martin Donovan, Samy Naceri and Brice Bexter. REDEMPTION DAY marks the feature film and directorial debut for Hicham Hajji, the first-ever Moroccan/Arab to write, produce and direct a major Hollywood feature film.
In the Moroccan-set film, Dourdan portrays the US. Marine Captain on a rescue mission to save his wife (Swan) when she is kidnapped by a terrorist group leader (Samy Naceri). Garcia is playing the American Ambassador in Morocco and Brice Bexter is portraying a Moroccan counter-terrorism agent. The ambassador will have to go against the maneuvers of his own government and a mysterious powerful man who will undermine his mission.
REDEMPTION DAY is Produced by Hicham Hajji and Executive Produced by Jonathan Deckter, Babacar Diene, Steven Adams, Matthew Helderman, and Jonathan Sheldon. Voltage Pictures is handling worldwide sales on the feature.
