(HABANA)- Hoy, el Ministerio de Salud Pública actualizó las cifras del coronavirus en Cuba. Según datos oficiales, hay 139 casos positivos y más de 2.300 personas bajo vigilancia. Detrás de cada número hay una vida. Como la del pastor Saúl Díaz, de la pequeña ciudad de Remedios, en la provincia de Villa Clara, que fue el primer cubano incluido en la lista de fallecidos que ha sido difundida por los medios nacionales.
El Ministerio de Salud Pública (MINSAP) confirmó 20 nuevos pacientes de coronavirus en Cuba, lo que eleva la cifra total a 139 casos. En total han sido diagnosticados positivos 69 hombres y 70 mujeres.
De los casos confirmados, la mayoría mantiene una evolución clínica estable (124), aunque 3 pacientes se encuentran en estado crítico y 5 graves. Cifra mayor en relación con el día de ayer, en que se reportaron un paciente en estado crítico y dos graves.
Se mantiene el dato de 3 fallecidos, 4 altas y un norteamericano que fue evacuado a Estados Unidos hace varios días, a petición propia y de sus familiares.
De los casos activos, 114 son cubanos y de ellos 73 tienen como antecedente haber regresado recientemente de países como Estados Unidos, España, Panamá, Guyana, entre otros. Los otros 25 infectados son extranjeros.
Hasta el 28 de marzo se encontraban ingresados 2.317 pacientes para vigilancia clínico-epidemiológico en centros de aislamiento y atención; de ellos 115 extranjeros y 2.202 cubanos.
Hay 684 sospechosos y 30.642 personas se vigilan desde la Atención Primaria de Salud.
Este sábado se estudiaron 297 casos, de las cuales resultaron positivas las 20 muestras citadas. La isla ha realizado hasta el momento, en total, 1.665 pruebas para detectar el coronavirus.
