Cuban actor who has been in films, theater, and television in Cuba and abroad. He managed to work with prestigious film directors and make characters in the television medium that gave him great popularity and prestige. He currently resides in Mexico and EEUU.

César Évora y Diaz was born in Havana on November 4, 1959. He studied engineering studies, which he left unfinished. He subsequently graduated in 1986 from the Faculty of Performing Arts of the Higher Institute of Art. He also completed an assistant director course at ICAIC and the first two years at the San Antonio de Los Baños International School of Film and Television in the specialty of directing.

CAREER.
In Cuba
In 1980 he auditioned to work on the film Cecilia under the direction of Humberto Solás. This project allowed him to start working in the cinema and take on leading characters in films such as A successful man, Capablanca, Amada, Habanera, A bride for David, and the classic La Bella del Alhambra.

CAREER.
In Mexico
He emigrated to Mexico in the 90s. Televisa hired him for six years and given the success of his work, the contract was renewed. He made telenovelas for Mexican television with a large audience such as ‘Labyrinths of passion’, ‘El manantial’, ‘Abrázame muy fuerte’, ‘El privilegio de Amar’, and ‘Entre el Amor y el odio’.

In 2003 he played the villain in the telenovela Mariana de la Noche. In 2006 he starred in Mundo de fieras alongside Edith González. In 2007 he participated in the commemorative telenovela of the 50 years of the telenovela in Mexico, Love without makeup, and in Al diablo con Los guapos, produced by Angelli Nesma. In 2010, he was part of the cast of the telenovela Llena de Amor. In 2010 he released the film Trópico de Sangre, in which he shared credits with American actress Michelle Rodríguez.

César Évora un actor cubano, que ha actuado para el cine, el teatro, y la televisión en Cuba. Logró trabajar con prestigiosos directores de cine y hacer personajes en el medio televisivo que le dieron gran popularidad y prestigio. Actualmente reside en México.

César Évora y Diaz nació en La Habana el 4 de noviembre de 1959. Cursó estudios de ingeniería, que dejó inconclusos. Posteriormente se graduó en 1986 de la Facultad de Artes Escénicas del Instituto Superior de Arte. Realizó además un curso de asistente de dirección en el ICAIC y los dos primeros años de la Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de San Antonio de los Baños en la especialidad de dirección.

En 1980 hizo casting para trabajar en el filme Cecilia bajo la dirección de Humberto Solás. Este proyecto le permitió comenzar a trabajar en el cine y asumir personajes protagónicos en películas como Un hombre de éxito, Capablanca, Amada, Habanera, Una novia para David y el clásico La bella del Alhambra.

CARRERA PROFESIONAL.
En México
Emigró a México en los años 90. Televisa le contrató por seis años y dado el éxito de su trabajo el contrato fue renovado. Hizo para la televisión mexicana telenovelas de gran audiencia de público como Laberintos de pasión, El manantial, Abrázame muy fuerte, El privilegio de amar y Entre el amor y el odio.

En 2003 encarnó a al villano en la telenovela ‘Mariana de la Noche’. En 2006 protagoniza ‘Mundo de fieras’ al lado de Edith González. En 2007 participa en la telenovela conmemorativa de los 50 años de la telenovela en México, ‘Amor sin maquillaje’ y en ‘Al diablo con los guapos’, producida por Angelli Nesma. En 2010, formó parte del elenco de la telenovela ‘Llena de amor’. En 2010 estrenó la película ‘Trópico de Sangre’, en la cual compartió créditos con la actriz estadounidense Michelle Rodríguez.
