LOS VUELOS DE ESTADOS UNIDOS A CUA se espera que aumenten en noviembre, cuando se abrirán las fronteras de la Isla, y ya compañías en Miami ofertan viajes directos o con escala a La Habana y otras ciudades. Por su parte, las aerolíneas internacionales todavía no publican los vuelos a Cuba para noviembre, informó la Empresa Cubana de Aeropuertos y Servicios Aeroportuarios S.A. (ECASA).
La agencia de viajes VaCuba tiene una oferta de vuelos Miami-Bahamas-La Habana a partir del 8 de noviembre y Miami-Bahamas-Holguín desde el 21 de noviembre, informó el periódico miamense El Nuevo Herald.
Los precios de los pasajes es de unos 1.455 dólares, ida y vuelta, y una maleta de 50 libras cuesta 75 dólares. “Los vuelos para La Habana solo saldrán los lunes y para Holguín, jueves y domingos”, dijo Jorge Martínez, un cliente de la agencia.
Por otra parte, la agencia de viajes CubaMax contará con vuelos directos de Miami a Cuba a partir de noviembre. “Según me contó la chica que me atendió, los vuelos oscilarán entre 400 y 700 dólares, y habrá una frecuencia semanal de hasta ocho vuelos chárter por AeroCuba, pero hasta el momento no tienen una fecha específica”, dijo Martínez.
De momento, las únicas fechas confirmadas por Cubamax son unos vuelos con escala en Cancún para el 24 de noviembre, y para el 8, 15, 22 y 29 de diciembre con un precio aproximado de 1.800 dólares por la aerolínea mexicana Viva Aerobus, agregó El Nuevo Herald.
La estatal ECASA informó en su canal de Telegram que “durante esta semana las aerolíneas se encuentran realizando las revisiones y ajustes correspondientes para establecer los vuelos” a Cuba después de ser informadas de “la cantidad de frecuencias que pueden operar a partir del 15 de noviembre”, fecha en que se abren las fronteras de la Isla.
ECASA “comunicará a finales de esta semana” la programación de vuelos a Cuba para noviembre. “En caso de comenzar el mes y se realicen más establecimientos será informado, como hemos realizado durante todo este tiempo”.
Por su parte, el grupo alemán de turismo FTI Touristik anunció el reinicio de sus operaciones aéreas con destino a Cuba para las vacaciones de invierno. FTI ofrecerá vuelos desde Alemania a Cuba con opciones de alojamiento, informó la agencia estatal Prensa Latina.
A partir del 7 de noviembre los viajeros a Cuba no tendrán que hacer cuarentena obligatoria por la pandemia de Covid-19. Desde el 15 de noviembre comenzará la apertura gradual de las fronteras de la Isla, el Gobierno justificó la decisión porque necesita recuperar el turismo, uno de los sectores donde más invirtió en los últimos meses pese a las escasas ganancias.
Los pasajeros que viajen a Cuba deberán presentar su cartilla de vacunación con la pauta completa contra el Covid-19.
Pese al descenso de las cifras de contagios en la Isla, “se mantienen las mismas medidas de bioseguridad a bordo de las aeronaves y en las terminales, tales como el uso obligatorio del nasobuco (mascarilla), desinfección de manos con solución clorada o gel de base alcohólica, desinfección de medios e instalaciones, pasos podálicos en los accesos, separación física de los pasajeros y limitación del uso de la capacidad de medios e instalaciones”, informó ECA.
