CAVERNA EL PANAL
Con casi kilómetro y medio, este portento espeleológico es preciso escalar por la pared rocosa de un mogote para acceder a la entrada, pero en su interior encontrará formaciones cristalinas, restos fósiles de animales extintos y hermosos mantos cársicos.
CUEVA SATURNO
En el poblado de Carbonera, a medio camino entre el Aeropuerto de Matanzas y la carretera a Varadero, está esta hermosa gruta, con un profundo lago bajo tierra donde veras estalagmitas y estalactitas: sus aguas son tan cristalinas, que puede verse el fondo a 18 metros de profundidad.
CALETA BUENA
Una de las mejores playas de la Ciénega de Zapata, el mayor humedal del Caribe, con una franja de arena fina protegida por arrecifes, donde existe un amplio espacio para observar el fondo marino.
EL YUNQUE DE BARACOA
La montaña más famosa de Baracoa, villa primada de Cuba, célebre por su peculiar forma de meseta, y por un rico ecosistema habitado por cacaos, ocujes, tocororos, cartacubas y orquídeas. En la cima una espectacular vista de mar y montaña.
SENDERO DE VEGAS GRANDE
Paisaje protegido en Topes de Collantes, donde habita casi la mitad de las aves endémicas de Cuba, entre montañas, cafetales, helechos y pinos, con un clima fresco y cierto aislamiento que acentúan el aspecto paradisiaco de este destino, relativamente cercano a la colonial villa de Trinidad.
EL NICHO
Increíble y asombroso ecosistema situado en el Parque Guanayara, en la Sierra de Escambray. Con múltiples saltos de fría agua, manantiales y estanques que parecen piscinas naturales, rodeadas de una profusa vegetación y pintorescos pueblos que muestran el rostro más sano y primitivo de Cuba.
MARIA LA GORDA
En el extremo occidental de Cuba, al que muy pocos llegan, aguarda esta reserva de la biosfera, con parajes vírgenes y otros destinos visitados tambien por científicos, interesados en sus arrecifes coralinos, su rico ecosistema y las abundantes leyendas del Cabo de San Antonio.
