Pablo Milanés: “Mi apoyo a Yunior Garcia Aguilera y todos los cuban@s que él representa y luchan dentro y fuera de Cuba”. El cantante le dedica al 15N su canción “Flores del futuro” y lanza un mensaje de apoyo a García Aguilera desde sus redes sociales.
EL CANTAUTOR CUBANO Pablo Milanés, uno de los artistas más reconocidos de la isla, publicó este lunes un rotundo mensaje de apoyo a la Marcha Cívica por el Cambio, prevista para este 15 de noviembre, y se solidarizó con el impulsor de la plataforma convocante Archipiélago, Yunior García Aguilera, que ayer fue impedido de marchar en solitario y objeto de un acto de repudio.
“¡Flores del futuro! #15NCuba Mi apoyo a Yunior García Aguilera y todos los cuban@s que él representa y luchan dentro y fuera de Cuba. Es hermoso que coincidamos en mostrar nuestro reclamo de libertades absolutas a través de las flores”, dijo el cantante.
“Escribí esta canción para el disco que compartí con Miguel Núñez hace ya más de 7 años”, escribió Milanés en sus cuentas oficiales en Facebook y Twitter, junto con la letra de su canción “Flores del futuro” y un video donde la interpreta.

“Mi desprecio a esas turbas que usan para ‘representar lo mejor del pueblo’. Me da vergüenza ajena que gente de mi raza se preste a ser como los antiguos cazadores de cimarrones de su propio suplicio y dolor. Los están utilizando. ¡Despierten!”, dijo también Milanés.
El cantautor, radicado en España, ya apoyó sin restricciones las protestas antigubernamentales del pasado 11 de julio, cuando criticó la represión y el hambre a los que está sometido el pueblo cubano por el “fracasado” gobierno de la isla, y se mostró confiado en que los jóvenes serán el “motor” de cambio en su país.
“Es irresponsable y absurdo culpar y reprimir a un pueblo que se ha sacrificado y lo ha dado todo durante décadas para sostener un régimen que al final lo que hace es encarcelarlo”, se lamentó el trovador de 78 años en su cuenta de Facebook.
“En el año 1992 tuve la convicción de que definitivamente el sistema cubano había fracasado y lo denuncié”, recordó el creador.
“Creo en los jóvenes, que con la ayuda de todos los cubanos, deben ser y serán el motor del cambio”, subrayó. También confía en que los cubanos logren encontrar “el mejor sistema posible de convivencia y prosperidad, con libertades plenas, sin represión y sin hambre”.

Milanés ha emprendido este mes su nueva gira “Días de Luz”, una puesta en escena con un formato íntimo y reflexivo con la que busca abrir un nuevo horizonte de reflexión más discreta y a la vez esperanzadora.
Iniciada en Estados Unidos el pasado septiembre, la gira llega ahora a España. Lo acompañan en el escenario por Miguel Núñez, al piano, y la chelista Caridad R. Varona. Durante sus conciertos ha presentado nuevas composiciones, como ‘Día de luz’, ‘Islas, cuerpos y algo más’ o ‘Vestida de mar’, pero tampoco han faltado los temas clásicos como, ‘El breve espacio en que no está’, ‘Yolanda’, ‘Ya ves’ o ‘Para vivir’, que siguen definiendo la naturaleza y singularidad de su alma de trovador.

Tras recibir dos Grammy Latinos en 2006 y un Grammy a la Excelencia Musical en 2015, el cantautor cubano ha continuado componiendo y grabando en solitario y realizando múltiples colaboraciones con músicos jóvenes. Recientemente, el sello Universal Music Spain publicó su catálogo musical compuesto por más de 400 canciones, en todas las plataformas de música, como un legado que quedará para las futuras generaciones.
En la actualidad, Milanés prepara nuevos proyectos, compone nuevos temas que tiene previsto grabar solo a guitarra y trabaja también en la producción de un álbum con temas de su repertorio en salsa.
