Ellys León la cantante y compositora cubana que inundó las calles de Madrid, hoy residente en Italia, ha lanzado su nueva canción ‘Tú y yo’, una producción ambiciosa con la que ‘ha querido llegar al público’ tanto de Europa como a Latinoamerica.
Ellys Delvis Naranjo Leon nació en la Oriental provincia cubana de Granma un 26 de noviembre de 1985, es más conocida solo como Ellys Leon y es una cantautora cubana de música urbana, cuyos temas van desde el reggaetón, pasando por la electrónica, hip hop, moombahton y pop latino.
Desde pequeña se inclinó por la música y participó activamente en las actividades culturales de la escuela, de la comunidad y de la familia. En 1999, con 14 años, ingresó a la Escuela de Instructores de Arte (EIA) de Provincia de Granma donde estudió dirección coral. Después de cuatro años de estudios se graduó como profesora de arte en la especialidad de música dirección coral. Más tarde, empezó a trabajar como profesora de arte en la escuela primaria Sergio Luis Ferriol de la Habana Vieja.

En 2003, con 18 años, obtuvo su primer contrato en el extranjero como cantante con una compañía artística rusa. Este contrato le permitió actuar durante seis meses en varias ciudades de Rusia y, más tarde, en diferentes países como Alemania, Egipto, Turquía,España, Montenegro, entre otros. En 2010 ingresó a la Escuela de actores Mario Bolaños donde estudió durante cuatro años actuación para cine, teatro y televisión. En 2014 se graduó del máster en interpretación para cine y televisión.
SU NUEVA PRODUCCION “TU Y YO”.
Su nueva cancion titulada “Tú y yo”, un tema grabado con MIR Motbinama International Records que ha entrado en el Top 6 de los temas más escuchados en Bogotá y México. Ha inundado recientemente las calles de Madrid con imágenes de su nuevo sencillo “Tú y yo”, cuyo video tiene más de dos millones de reproducciones en YouTube y fue grabado entre París y Dubai, es la primera canción de León con una discográfica que apueste todo por ella. “Cuando uno saca una canción, espera que le gusta a la gente, pero esta me ha sorprendido gratamente”, dice León.
La artista ha vivido más de diez años en Italia y define su música como “un mix” de latino, urbano, balada y electrónica, aunque adelanta que, a partir de ahora, su música se enfocará más en lo latino.

La dueña del rostro que inundó durante semanas el metro y la Gran Vía de Madrid empezo cantando música electrónica. “Trabajando en Ibiza me llegó el primer contrato a Italia por la Compañía Artística Internacional Italiana que, en un principio, era de tres meses. Ya llevo más de diez años en Italia, un país que valora mucho a los artistas. Para la artista lo más difícil de la profesión es la inestabilidad y la soledad. “Pasas muchas noches de hotel y viajes en los que estás sola. De afuera se ve todo muy bien, pero muchas veces no tienes a alguien con quien compartir todo lo que te está pasando” le dice en una estrevista al Diario de Cuba.
Sobre su relación con Cuba, León cuenta que va casi todos los años pues su madre sigue viviendo allá. “Estuve hace tres años abriendo el carnaval. Ir a cantar delante de tus compañeros de clase, de tus vecinos, de la gente que te conoce, es una emoción muy grande”, dice.

Ellys Delvis Naranjo Leon was born in the Eastern Cuban province of Granma on November 26, 1985, she is better known only as Ellys Leon and is a Cuban singer-songwriter of urban music, whose songs range from reggaeton, through electronics, hip hop, moombahton, and Latin pop.
Since she was little she was inclined towards music and actively participated in the cultural activities of the school, the community, and the family. In 1999, at the age of 14, she entered the School of Art Instructors (EIA) of Granma Province where she studied choral conducting. After four years of studies, she graduated as an art teacher specializing in choral conducting music. Later, she began to work as an art teacher at the Sergio Luis Ferriol elementary school in Old Havana.
In 2003, at the age of 18, she obtained her first contract abroad as a singer with a Russian artistic troupe. This contract allowed him to perform for six months in various cities in Russia and, later, in different countries such as Germany, Egypt, Turkey, Spain, Montenegro, among others. In 2010 she entered the Mario Bolaños School of Actors where she studied acting for film, theater, and television for four years. In 2014 she graduated with a master’s degree in acting for film and television.
