El éxodo masivo de cubanos es solo una de las causas del decrecimiento de la población en Cuba informó este miércoles la estatal Agencia Cubana de Noticias ACN . El régimen de La Habana señaló además que el Censo de Población y Viviendas no se desarrollará en septiembre próximo como estaba previsto.
Según elCentro de Estudios Demográficos CED de la Universidad de La Habana UH la población en Cuba al cierre de 2021 fue de 11 1 millones de habitantes porque el país alcanzó muy bajos niveles defecundidad equivalentes a 44 años por debajo del reemplazo generacional.
Los niveles de mortalidad llegaron a ser bajos al igual que la infantil la alta esperanza de vida y un negativo saldo migratorio internacional agregó el centro.
De 2011 a 2025 la población cubana disminuirá en valores absolutos en algo más de 203 111 personas cerca del 26 de ellas tendrá 60 años y más con un elevado crecimiento absoluto de la de 80 años y más. En Cuba ocurrió el más bajo número de nacimientos 99 096 y el mayor de muertes 167 645 en los últimos 60 años pero también disminuyó la población en todas las provincias y de sus 168 municipios y 159 redujeron sus efectivos en los cuales reside el 91 de la población reseñó ACN.
Diego Enrique González Galbán director del Centro de Estudios de Población y Desarrollo Cepde de la Oficina Nacional de Estadística e Información ONEI dijo al diario oficial Granma que el Censo de Población y Viviendas no se desarrollará en septiembre próximo como estaba previsto debido a un atraso provocado por la pandemia de la Covid 19.
El funcionario también utilizó la habitual excusa del régimen de La Habana el embargo de Estados Unidos para justificar que Cuba no tiene los recursos necesarios para hacer el Censo.
OBLIGADA PREPARACION DE UN CENSO EN CUBA..
