HOY, PARA EL CASTRISMO… SIN “GUSANOS” NO HAY PAIS. PHOTOS
El Gobierno cubano sorprendió a los cubanos con el anuncio este martes de nuevas normas relacionadas con los trámites de pasaporte. Según anunció el director general de Asuntos Consulares y Cubanos Residentes en el Exterior (DACCRE) del MINREX, Ernesto Soberón, a partir del 1 de julio los pasaportes tendrán una validez de diez años, se elimina el requisito de hacer prórrogas cada dos años y se disminuye el costo del documento en los consulados. De esta forma, el Gobierno cubano renuncia a una millonaria entrada de dinero que regularmente obtenía por medio de los abusivos precios de obtener un pasaporte y las altas tarifas por el obligado proceso de prórroga de validez del pasaporte al que eran sometidos los ciudadanos cubanos.
Sin dudas, algo grande se cocina tras bambalinas. Sobre todo, en un momento en que el régimen cubano no tiene un centavo y no tiene acceso a líneas de créditos por ser mal pagador. En un escenario en el que el régimen está atrapado entre la presión interna, dada la crisis multisistémica que ha puesto al país al borde de un estallido social a gran escala y las torpes medidas que ha implementado para tratar de salir de la crisis. Y, por si fuera poco, en medio del estancamiento de las negociaciones para liberar a los más de 1.100 presos políticos que están injustamente encarcelados por los sucesos del 11J.
CUBA DESESPERADA HOY
Hoy los mercados en Cuba están desabastecidos, las filas para comprar productos de primera necesidad en dólares pueden durar hasta 12 horas. Los cubanos a duras penas se mantienen, principalmente con el dinero, las medicinas y la comida que llevan o envían sus familiares desde el exterior, mayormente desde EEUU. Más de 450.000 cubanos se han marchado del país en los últimos dos años en busca de libertad, huyendo del hambre, de la represión y la falta de oportunidades. La cifra de cubanos que viven en EEUU ya está cerca de los tres millones, entre cubanos emigrados y descendientes nacidos en EEUU. Esta cifra es un gran aliciente para hacer cambiar la postura del régimen hacia su diáspora y tratar de buscar fórmulas que le genere ingresos millonarios a costa de ella.
A principios de 1960, Fidel Castro satanizó, al igual que hiciera Adolf Hitler, como “gusanos” a los cubanos que se oponían al régimen que acababa de instaurar con el triunfo de la revolución en 1959. Esos “gusanos” fueron los primeros exiliados cubanos después de 1959. Desde entonces el calificativo quedó institucionalizado en la jerga revolucionaria impuesta por el dictador y utilizada con frecuencia en sus maratónicos discursos, en los artículos de periodistas oficialistas y en los métodos de adoctrinamiento del PCC.
En 1980, Fidel Castro volvió a llamar a los cubanos gusanos, cuando expulsó del país a más de 125.000 ciudadanos por el puerto del Mariel hacia EEUU, quienes fueron despojados de sus viviendas con todo adentro, luego de ser insultados y agredidos físicamente por turbas enviadas por el PCC en los llamados mítines de repudio que todavía se utilizan como método de coacción y represión contra los ciudadanos que piensan diferente y se oponen al régimen.
La mayoría de estos cubanos que se fueron del país en los 60 y los 80 sobrevivieron en el exilio, en un nuevo país, comenzando sus nuevas vidas desde cero, en muchos casos separados de sus familias para siempre. Muchos de ellos se convirtieron en personas exitosas gracias a la democracia y a las oportunidades que encontraron en EEUU. En los años siguientes decenas de miles de cubanos continuaron emigrando del país, huyendo del comunismo. Hoy ya suman casi tres millones entre emigrados y descendientes. Una buena parte de ellos son los que, con sus remesas en dinero y mercancías y sus viajes a la Isla, constituyen la principal vía de sustento de cientos de miles de familias cubanas.
En algún momento en la historia de nuestro país, y como resultado del desarrollo alcanzado por la industria azucarera cubana en el siglo XIX, se hizo célebre la frase “Sin azúcar no hay país”. El régimen cubano, en su accionar destructivo durante más de seis décadas, enterró para siempre lo que en un momento fue el orgullo del país. Dadas las circunstancias actuales, ha surgido un nuevo lema que refleja la tragedia que ha significado el castrismo para los cubanos: “Sin ‘gusanos’ no hay país”.
Es responsabilidad de los exiliados caer o no en el nuevo juego que esta tramando el régimen cubano. Cada cubano residente en el exterior es responsable de sus propios actos y sus acciones. El régimen, en su lecho de muerte, intenta con esta acción tirar la carnada para intentar sembrar el inicio de un acercamiento a la diáspora que le permita tomar una bocanada de oxígeno para continuar en el poder y seguir sometiendo a los cubanos.
El régimen cubano debería entender de una vez que la única forma posible de que con “gusanos” haya país, es bajo una auténtica democracia con libertades y oportunidades para todos.
QUIZAS QUIERAN ELIMINAR LA LISTA DE LOS “REGULADOS” Y “PROHIBIDOS” DE REGRESAR AL PAIS
No me extrañaría que el próximo paso sea eliminar la figura de los regulados y dejen entrar al país a todos aquellos a quienes se les ha prohibido regresar en los últimos años. A fin de cuentas el régimen cuenta con un aparato represivo bien aceitado para vigilar a cuanto cubano residente en el exterior e incómodo al régimen decida visitar la Isla. En este paquete también podría entrar la liberación de los presos políticos; así de paso le hacen un guiño a quienes dentro de la Administración Biden abogan por sacar al régimen de la lista de países que apoyan el terrorismo.
De este modo, el régimen estaría poniendo alfombra roja a quienes dentro de la Administración Biden son partidarios de intentar un segundo deshielo, el cual fue interrumpido por los sucesos del 11 de julio y todo lo que vino después.

DESPERATE CUBA TODAY

In the early 1960s, Fidel Castro demonized, just like Adolf Hitler did, the Cubans who opposed the regime he had just established with the triumph of the revolution in 1959 as “worms”. Those “worms” were the first Cuban exiles after 1959. Since then, the adjective has been institutionalized in the revolutionary jargon imposed by the dictator and frequently used in his marathon speeches, in articles by pro-government journalists, and in the methods of indoctrination of the PCC.

At some point in the history of our country, and as a result of the development achieved by the Cuban sugar industry in the 19th century, the phrase “Without sugar, there is no country” became famous. The Cuban regime, in its destructive actions for more than six decades, buried forever what was once the pride of the country. Given the current circumstances, a new slogan has emerged that reflects the tragedy that Castroism has meant for Cubans: “Without ‘worms’ there is no country.”
It is the responsibility of the exiles to fall or not into the new game that the Cuban regime is plotting. Each Cuban residing abroad is responsible for his own actions and his actions. The regime, on its deathbed, tries with this action to throw the bait to try to sow the beginning of a rapprochement with the diaspora that allows it to take a breath of oxygen to continue in power and continue to subdue the Cubans.
The Cuban regime should understand once and for all that the only possible way for there to be a country with “worms” is under an authentic democracy with freedoms and opportunities for all.
