EL POLLO EN CUBA va camino de alcanzar precio de oro en medio de una crisis que impacta particularmente a la alimentación y exprime cada vez más rápido los bolsillos de las personas. Esta semana un paquete de diez libras del producto congelado ha llegado a venderse en más de 3.600 pesos.
Randol Luis Doval denunció en Facebook este martes que compró el paquete de pollo a ese precio en el barrio del Vedado, en La Habana, donde este producto, una de las pocas proteínas disponibles en la dieta de los cubanos, aumentó su costo de manera significativa en pocos días.
“Atención, Vedado, paquete de pollo de diez libras que costaba hace unos días 3.000 y luego 3.100, ahora mismo acabo de comprarlo dónde único lo encontramos 3.624 CUP. Repito, 3.624 pesos. No menciono el lugar exacto porque no entiendo que sean los vendedores los culpables de estos crecientes precios”, dijo.
Un seguidor dijo a Doval que “en una MIPYME de Neptuno están a 3.500 pesos y todavía están carísimos”.
“Resultado de la obra. Murillo, Gil, artífices económicos con sus sagaces medidas y su reordenamiento económico, derivado en arroz con mango e inflación exorbitante”, añadió otra persona.
SIGUEN LAS PROTESTAS CUBANAS
Desde el municipio de Güines, provincia de Mayabeque, otro cubano se quejó de que un cartón de huevos en el mercado negro ya alcanza los 1.600 pesos.
“De verdad que no quisiera hacer este tipo de publicaciones, pero se me va de las manos. 1.600 pesos vale un cartón de huevos en Güines. Señores, esto es la mitad del salario de cualquier trabajador. La comida no es un lujo, es algo que es necesario para vivir. Como suelo decir, ¡ya Cuba murió!”, escribió el joven Rafael Gómez Acevedo.
Sin embargo, las denuncias de precios exorbitantes de los últimos días no se quedan en la alimentación, también llegan a otros productos de primera necesidad, como el papel higiénico, que cuesta 600 pesos un paquete de ocho rollos.
La cubana Yordanka Battle Moré escribió en su perfil de Facebook recientemente en letras mayúsculas: “Limpiarse el ano es un lujo”.
“Muchos se rieron cuando le metí mano a la Guía de ETECSA el día que el tamal me cayó como una bomba. Pero aquí les dejo la evidencia de lo que decía. Imagínese si una viuda pensionada de 1.528 pesos (como mi abuela) puede con esto. Ni ese lujo se puede dar”, señaló.
CUBA ANTE LA INFLACION SIN LIMITE
Cuba registró una inflación anual cercana al 87% al cierre de mayo, según el análisis que realiza el economista estadounidense Steve H. Hanke, de la Universidad Johns Hopkins.
“El paraíso comunista de Cuba nunca falla en fallar. Hoy medí la inflación anual de Cuba en un punitivo 86,66% interanual”, escribió el especialista en su cuenta en la red social Twitter, donde compartió una tabla del comportamiento de este índice en los últimos años.
Según datos oficiales, la inflación interanual en el mercado formal cubano se situó en abril en el 45,36%, frente al 23,69% del mismo mes de 2022, atizada por los alimentos y la restauración. Pese a que estas cifras no son tan negativas como las publicadas por Hanke, el economista Pedro Monreal las puso como ejemplo del fracaso de las políticas del régimen para lograr la pregonada “estabilización macroeconómica” para 2023.
Para Pedro Monreal, “lo que sea que el Gobierno cubano esté haciendo no ha hecho funcionar su programa de ‘estabilización macroeconómica’ anunciado para 2023 porque los datos oficiales de precios de abril confirmaron la solidez de una inflación de dos dígitos”.
“El aumento interanual general de precios en abril de 45,36% y el crecimiento interanual de 70,67% en el precio de los alimentos presagia un nuevo año ‘maldito’ para el poder adquisitivo de los salarios y pensiones en Cuba”, apuntó el economista en un hilo en Twitter.
La libreta de racionamiento, pese a lo exiguo de los alimentos que garantiza mensualmente a las personas, es el único suministro estable de comestibles que tienen los cubanos más pobres. Fuera de esa canasta, cuyos productos también cuestan más tras la Tarea Ordenamiento y apenas alcanza para dar de comer a una persona durante una semana, solo quedan los precios disparados de los agromercados, las ofertas en dólares de las tiendas estatales y el mercado negro.
