Aylín Mújica Ricard más conocida como Aylín Mújica nacida el 24 de noviembre de 1974, es una reconocida actriz y modelo en los escenarios y pantallas mexicanas. Ganadora de The Herald Face of Mexico, Aylin Mujica es una actriz y modelo sexy e impresionante. También es bailarina de ballet.
Estudió danza folklórica, ballet clásico, coreografía y música en la Academia Nacional de Ballet. Desde muy pequeña demostró gran talento, dedicación y disciplina en las artes. Cuando era apenas una niña, fue invitada a un curso de ballet clásico en el Teatro Bolshoi de Moscú. A los quince años ingresó al Instituto Superior de Arte para estudiar arte dramático. Y a los 18 estudió en la Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de Cuba, en La Habana.

Viajó a México en 1992, donde trabajó como modelo en comerciales de televisión y videoclips musicales para cantantes como: Willy Chirino, Albita Rodríguez, Marcelo Cezán y Gerardo, entre otros. En 1994 se muda a México y participa en la película “El Jinete de Acero”. Tiempo después ingresó al centro de formación de la empresa Televisa bajo la dirección del profesor Sergio Jiménez. Posteriormente, fue elegida para participar en la telenovela “La Dueña” y por su impresionante interpretación del personaje Fabiola en esta exitosa novela, obtuvo el premio “Revelación Latina del Año”, otorgado por la asociación de cronistas de espectáculos de ( A.C.E.) y “El Sol de Oro” Nueva York como joven actriz revelación, premiado por la Asociación de Críticos de Teatro de México.

Luego de este gran éxito, continuó dándose a conocer como actriz, durante su primera coprotagonista en la telenovela “Canción de Amor”, junto a Lorena Rojas, Eduardo Capetillo y Joaquín Cordero. También participó en varios programas de televisión como artista exclusiva de “Televisa” y en obras de teatro como “La Cenicienta” y “La Mejor Pequeña Casa de Putas de Texas” obra de Broadway, presentada en México. A finales de 1997 ingresó a la compañía “TV Azteca”, protagonizando la también exitosa telenovela “Señora”, con el papel protagónico de Isabel Fernández, junto a los actores: Julieta Egurrola, Fernando Ciangherotti y Héctor Bonilla, siendo nuevamente premiada. por la Asociación de Cronistas del Show de Nueva York (A.C.E.), como mejor actriz en 1998 y por la revista TV y novelas Colombia como mejor actriz extranjera.
En 1998, debido a sus logros y su ya importante carrera artística, tuvo el honor de ser la primera actriz cubana en recibir su estrella en el prestigioso Paseo de las Luminarias de la Ciudad de México. Su regreso a las telenovelas en 2002 estuvo marcado por la telenovela “Agua y Aceite” compartiendo créditos con Christian Bach, Héctor Bonilla y Humberto Zurita en el papel de Déborah, participó como protagonista en la serie de televisión de TV Azteca: “Vivir Así ” y “Mi mejor amigo” con el actor Juan Manuel Bernal. Ha participado como artista invitada, conductora o maestra de ceremonias en programas de televisión para cadenas de televisión internacionales: Univisión, Telemundo, CBS Telenoticias, Columbia Tri-star, Venevision, Gems, entre otras.

Con ellos vive su hijo Mauro, de trece años, fruto de su primer matrimonio. Actualmente la familia reside en las afueras de la Ciudad de México, en una casa muy mexicana, acogedora, con mucha vegetación y una espléndida vista de esa ciudad que disfruta con sus perros y caballos.
Es en el año 2004 luego del tremendo éxito con el papel de Lorena Madero en la telenovela “La Heredera” con la que se posiciona como primera actriz, cumple su sueño y presenta su primer disco llamado “Aylín” del cual sale la exitosa canción “Chiqui”. Un álbum de 12 temas en inglés y español de pop totalmente latino orientado a la mujer latina. En 2005 debuta como conductora en el programa de fin de semana “Tempranito” transmitido por TV Azteca y Azteca América con gran aceptación del público, por donde recibió el premio a la mejor presentadora revelación y al micrófono de oro.
Luego de año y medio regresa a las telenovelas como talento exclusivo de la cadena NBC-Telemundo en el proyecto de telenovela “Marina” en su primer papel antagónico.
