El mercado de divisas da señales de nueva avidez por el dólar, impulsada por un repunte en la crisis migratoria cubana. El dólar estadounidense (USD) registró un nuevo récord este sábado al aumentar dos puntos en el mercado informal cubano.
Con este incremento, el valor de la divisa del “enemigo” alcanzó los 252 pesos cubanos (CUP), estableciendo un nuevo récord desde que alcanzara su máximo histórico de 250 pesos a mediados de agosto.
El hecho patentiza la grave crisis que aqueja a la moneda nacional, que viene hundiéndose desde hace meses en el abismo de la devaluación, a pesar de momentáneos descensos de su cotización, o períodos de relativa “estabilidad”.
El medio independiente El TOQUE, que elabora las tasas de referencia que se manejan en el mercado negro cubano, recoge ventas de hasta 253 CUP por dólar estadounidense, un indicador de que su cotización podría seguir subiendo en los próximos días.
OTRAS ALZAS EN EL MERCADO INFORMAL CUBANO
Este sábado subió también el valor del MLC, que escaló dos puntos en el mercado informal cubano para situarse en los 230 CUP, rompiendo también el máximo alcanzado hasta la fecha, que fue de 228 el pasado 19 de octubre.
Por su parte, el euro se mantuvo en los 260 CUP, un valor récord registrado a comienzos de mes, concretamente el pasado 4 de octubre.
El precio de las divisas de referencia en el mercado negro cubano estuvo al alza en todo julio y buena parte de agosto. No obstante, a finales de agosto las tres monedas comenzaron a bajar, poniendo en evidencia la inestabilidad del mercado informal de compra y venta de divisas.
Tras casi dos semanas en que se frenó la devaluación del peso cubano en el mercado informal, el mes pasado se inició un proceso de recuperación que continúa marcando un preocupante ascenso en medio de un repunte de la crisis migratoria cubana.
La tasa de referencia del citado medio independiente se elabora tras analizar todos los anuncios de compra y venta publicados en redes sociales y sitios web de clasificados. Con ese resultado se establece un precio que sirve para conocer los valores de las principales divisas que circulan en el país.
