Cuba compró cifras récord de alimentos y productos agrícolas a EE.UU. en enero. Cuba aumentó un 39,4% la compra de alimentos a Estados Unidos.
ESTADOS UNIDOS exportó a Cuba en enero pasado productos agrícolas y alimenticios por 45.168.873 dólares, un aumento de 39,4% en comparación con igual periodo de 2023.
El Departamento de Agricultura detalló en su informe correspondiente al primer mes del año que la cifra es abultada porque las compras de pollo superaron los volúmenes de venta anteriores, con $33.012.358 dólares.

Detalla que las cifras del Departamento de Agricultura de EE.UU incluyen todas las exportaciones de carne de pollo hacia Cuba contratadas por todos los tipos de clientes finales (estatal y MIPYMES).
COMPRAS DE VEHICULOS A ESTADOS UNIDOS
Según el Consejo Económico y Comercial Cuba-EEUU, en el primer mes del año también se incrementaron las compras de vehículos usados en EE.UU. por parte de personas residentes en la isla. Los valores sumaron $3.071.000 dólares.
El pasado año Estados Unidos aumentó en un 4.2 por ciento las exportaciones de alimentos a Cuba, con un total de $301,727,842 dólares.
Ese año también llamó la atención el aumento de las importaciones de café desde EE.UU., las cuales alcanzaron la cifra histórica de 5.4 millones de dólares.
También se elevaron las donaciones humanitarias de EE.UU. a Cuba a $36,563,551 en 2023; en comparación con $30.083.306,00 en 2022.
