The Cuban Camila Cabello starred this Saturday, October 20, a vibrant concert at the DirectTV Arena in Buenos Aires. As part of their “Never Be The Same” tour, the acclaimed artist of 21 years delighted thousands of attendees with a show that reaffirms her as a soloist, said the newspaper La Nación.

Camila entered the scene singing “Never Be The Same”, the toxic and obsessive love song that gives name to the tour. From there, a story of broken heart, healing and self-discovery constructed between the lyrics, the audiovisual dividers and the personal empowerment discourses that Cabello displayed, in almost perfect Spanish, was narrated during the hour and a half that the show lasted.

In the first section, “Inside out” and “She Loves Control” composed the livina and dancer facet. Some problems with the microphone, some dancers who did not finish integrating the show and a sexy pose that was somewhat impostada did not allow Camila to take off completely.

However, everything changed from “Consequences”, the ballad that he played on the keyboard and in which he started the broken heart segment and, at the same time, total communion with his audience, which he harangued to sing the chorus . “The important thing is also what happens in the audience, this night belongs to you,” he said before continuing with the show.

In the sensitive and very connected line with the stadium, Camila sang “Something Gotta Give” accompanied by images related to gun control in the United States, the Black Lives Matters movement and the Women’s March.

With “In The Dark”, Camila introduced the song talking about self-care and allowing herself to go through pain. His fans responded by filling the stadium with posters that said “You are the light in our darkness”. Without having to ask for it, all the seats were silent to allow him to sing a verse a cappella and confirmed that his round trip has no flaws.

Camila entró a escena cantando “Never Be The Same”, la canción de amor tóxico y obsesivo que da nombre al tour.

Sus fans le respondieron llenando el estadio de carteles que decían “You are the light in our darkness”.
