Jorge Rubén Cortada Soto nació el 6 de octubre de 1984 en la Isla de la Juventud (Isla de Pinos, Cuba). Es actor y modelo.

Él mide 190 cm (6 pies 3 pulgadas) de altura.

Se graduó de los niveles de secundaria en la escuela vocacional Vladimir Ilich Lenin, conocida popularmente como “La Lenin”.

De orígenes humildes. Más tarde, en 2003 se unió a Ingeniería Automática en Cujae, aunque no completó sus estudios en el Instituto Politécnico José Antonio Echeverría en La Habana.

Hasta los quince compitió en el tenis.

Comenzó su carrera internacional como modelo.

Sus primeras experiencias como actor fueron un par de obras en Cuba de Humberto Rodríguez. Luego, se preparó con el maestro argentino Fernando Piernas y, finalmente se estableció en España y fue reconocido como modelo del año por un par de instituciones, estaba probando hasta que surgió su primera oportunidad televisiva: ‘Bandolera’ (2011-2012), el Serie Antena 3 que dio vida a Jorge Infante, un seductor que llegó a la vida de Sara (Marta Hazas) sin demasiadas buenas intenciones.

Rubén combinó la filmación de esta serie con ‘El Tiempo entre Costuras’, de la misma cadena, que no se emitió hasta 2013. En este proyecto, fue Ramiro Arribas, el gran amor de Sira (Adriana Ugarte), a quien abandonó en deuda. y loco de amor.

Y finalmente, ‘El Príncipe’, de Telecinco, una serie en la que interpreta a Faruq Ben Barek, un malvado narcotraficante, y con quien nadie duda de su valor interpretativo a pesar de que todavía no se considera un actor con mayúsculas. “Mi nombre aún no es actor. Una vez que entras y ves la profundidad de esto, todo lo que tienes que leer para prepararte para la forma en que se preparan los grandes, te das cuenta de que todavía no eres nada. Pero trabajando aprendes ”, dice Rubén. Poco a poco, ha ido puliendo su acento con la ayuda de Concha Doñaque para no ser encasillado en el mismo tipo de papeles y continúa formándose; por qué, en este momento, no tiene intención de regresar al mundo de la moda: “He seguido teniendo opciones, pero prefiero no perder el curso que ir de viaje”.

Actualmente vive en España.

Jorge Rubén Cortada Soto was born October 6, 1984 in Isla de la Juventud (Isla de Pinos, Cuba). He is an actor and model.

He is 190 cm (6ft 3in) tall.

He graduated of High School levels in the Vocational School Vladimir Ilich Lenin, popularly known as ‘La Lenin’.

From humble origins. He completed high school at the Vladimir Ilich Lenin Vocational School, popularly known as ‘Lenin’. Later, in 2003 he joined Automatic Engineering in Cujae, although not complete his studies at the Polytechnic Institute José Antonio Echeverría in Habana.

Until fifteen he competed in tennis.

He started his international career as a Model.

His first experiences as an actor were a couple of plays in Cuba by Humberto Rodríguez. Then, he prepared with the Argentine teacher Fernando Piernas and, finally settled in Spain and recognized as a model of the year by a couple of institutions, he was testing until his first television opportunity arose: ‘Bandolera’ (2011-2012), the Antena 3 series that gave life to Jorge Infante, a seducer who came to the life of Sara (Marta Hazas) without too many good intentions.
