En 1946, se instalaron en Cuba, donde hicieron sus primeras incursiones en el mundo de la televisión a partir de 1949. En ese mismo año de su llegada a Cuba actúan en los principales locales de La Habana, como el Tropicana y tienen un espacio en la radio: “Radio Circo”. Eran los hermanos Gabriel, Alfonso y Emilio Aragón, que con el nombre artístico de Gaby, Fofo y Miliki triunfaron tanto en Cuba como despues en diversos paises de America.
En los años siguientes, la difusión de sus programas por otros países de Latinoamérica los convierte en rostros conocidos ademas de Mexico y Cuba en Venezuela, Puerto Rico y Estados Unidos. En México, donde participan en la película “El nieto del Zorro”, en la que Gaby interpreta al legendario personaje mexicano y Fofó y Miliki a sus dos hombres de confianza.
GABY, FOFO Y MILIKI, SUS VIDAS EN CUBA
Los hermanos Gabriel, Alfonso y Emilio Aragón por más de 20 años actuaron en estos espacios, pero también en el Teatro, el Cabaret e incluso en la cinematografía cubana de la primera mitad del Siglo XX. Herederos de una larga tradición familiar circense, que se remonta al siglo XIX. Estos tres hermanos dedicados tambien al circo, eran hijos de Emilio Aragón Foureaux y sobrinos de José María y Teodoro Aragón Foureaux (estos formarían el grupo cómico Emig, Pompoff y Thedy). Otros miembros de la familia también se dedicaron al mundo del circo.

LLegaron a la TV Cubana por la ley natural, pues fue el caso que nuestro primer canal Unión Radio TV (canal 4) lo lideraba Gaspar Pumarejo, el mismo Director General y fundador desde 1947 en la Habana, de la emisión Unión Radio, homónima a una planta española, homenaje de este hijo de Santander, a España su tierra natal, al comenzar el video muchos de los artistas contratados por Pumarejo en la emisora reprodujeron en la pantalla sus programas habituales en el éter o crearon nuevos proyectos. Entre ellos estaba este trío español, que desde los año 40, protagonizaba Radio Circo en Union Radio a las 5 pm, pero aunque se incorporaron al video y otros espacios, permanecieron en la emisión hasta los inicios de la década de los 50.
Así devinieron fundadores de la TV cubana, desde Noviembre de 1950, en aquellos espectáculos transmitidos desde el Teatro Alkazar, a falta de estudios de Televisión apropiados.Era el espacio de variedades circenses Telecirco con frecuencia diaria entre 5 a 7 pm, que vieron en las pantallas cubanas nuestros primeros televidentes, lo dirigió para la T V, el dramaturgo, actor, escritor y director de Televisión, Antonio Vázquez Gallo.

Ya para el 2 de Abril de 1951, se transmitía entre 6: 30 a 7: 00 pm debido a reajustes de la programación.Estos payasos estuvieron entre los artistas mejor retribuidos económicamente en los albores de nuestra Televisión. Tenían un contrato con el Canal 4, que vencía en Febrero de 1953 pero no concluyó, pues en los inicios de 1952 viajaron a Miami durante mes y medio y al regresar pasaron desde Marzo de 1952 al Canal 6 por una oferta más ventajosa que le hizo el poderoso consorcio C M Q para actuar en el espacio, Aventuras de Gaby, Fofo y Miliki, con transmisión diaria entre 6 : 25 a 6: 55 pm, producido por la publicitaria O T P L A y patrocinado por los productos electrónicos Dumont.
Según algunas biografías, en Cuba ruedan “La vida de los payasos” (1951). Luego pasan a la emisora CMQ TV. En Cuba adquirieron la ciudadania cubana, como se afirma en “El libro de oro de la televisión”, editado en Cuba en 1954. Otro de sus programas allí fue “El circo de Valencia”.
En 1958 vuelven a actuar en el famoso cabaret Tropicana de La Habana. Poco después de 1959 la familia abandona la isla, después de 13 años de estancia (1946-1959). Allí queda el local de la pastelería que había abierto Miliki, en el barrio del Vedado. Y también nos queda, a los que tuvimos la oportunidad de verlos, el recuerdo de estos payasos que tanta alegría y buenos momentos nos dieron a las familias cubanas.
Aunque fallecidos, estos queridos y recordados cubano-españoles rebasaron las Artes escénicas habaneras e incursionaron en la vida comercial de la Capital, ademas de haber casado con Cubanas.
Y parafraseando la pregunta con que siempre comenzaban sus espectáculos podríamos decir: …¿Cómo están ustedes? … Tristes.
