Rolando Laserie, fue un cantante cubano-estadounidense de boleros, guarachas, son cubano, son montuno, tangos y bolero son. También conocido como El Guapo de la Cancion o El Guapachoso nació en Santa Clara, Cuba el 27 de Agosto de 1923 y murió en Coral Gables, Estados Unidos el 22 de Noviembre de 1998.

Meme Solís es un cantante, pianista y compositor cubano que en el año 1960 constituyera el afamado Cuarteto Los Meme que dominó en Cuba y en su estilo toda la década de los sesenta. Ha sido una influyente figura de la música popular cubana.
Solis nacio en Yaguajay, Cuba, un 23 de septiembre de 1939. Vive actualmente en New York.

LOS MODERNISTAS (VIDEOS)
Este grupo musical fundado en La Habana, Cuba en marzo de 1960. Debutaron el 24 de abril de 1960. El grupo surgió como una transformación del popular cuarteto Los Faxas, pues sus integrantes, al salir dos de sus miembros, abandonaron el formato que siempre tuvo de cuatro hombres, para iniciar un formato mixto con tres hombres y una mujer, a lo que se añadiría el cambio del nombre del grupo.

LOS SAFIROS (VIDEOS)
Los Zafiros fueron un grupo vocal cubano de armonía cerrada que trabajó desde 1962 hasta 1976. El grupo formaba parte del movimiento filín (feeling), inspirado en grupos estadounidenses de doo-wop como The Platters. Su música era una fusión de géneros cubanos, como el bolero, con doo-wop, baladas, R&B, calipso, bossa nova y rock and roll primitivo. Uno de sus fundadores Miguel Cancio es el unico sobreviviente del grupo y reside actualmente en Miami, Estados Unidos.

Los Zafiros was a Cuban close harmony vocal group that worked from 1962 to 1976. The group was part of the filín (feeling) movement, inspired by American doo-wop groups like The Platters. His music was a fusion of Cuban genres, such as bolero, with doo-wop, ballads, R&B, calypso, bossa nova, and early rock and roll. One of its founders Miguel Cancio is the only survivor of the group and currently resides in Miami, United States.
