Home issue dossier of ESPN dedicated to Cuba 
ESPN Sports, the prestigious magazine ‘s February issue was dedicated to the Cuban baseball, interviews with the stars Yasiel Puig and Aroldis Chapman and Antonio Castro , son of Fidel Castro and senior official of the government baseball association in Cuba .
The number with the dossier of Cuba is on sale from Monday and is from a specimen collection and on the eve of the upcoming MLB season and the increasing rise of Cuban baseball players in the United States.
From the interview with Castro , by reporter Paula Lavigne last September in Havana, met some fragments in advance , in late 2013 , with unusual statements regarding the approach of Cuban sports officials and MLB representatives and as to the possibility that the players considered ” deserters ” can return and join the national team in international competitions.

La prestigiosa revista ESPN Deportes dedica su edición de febrero al béisbol cubano, con entrevistas a los astros Yasiel Puig y Aroldis Chapman, así como a Antonio Castro, hijo de Fidel Castro y alto funcionario del béisbol en Cuba.
El número con el dossier de Cuba está a la venta desde este lunes y constituye desde ya un ejemplar de colección, en vísperas de la próxima temporada de Grandes Ligas y del creciente auge de los peloteros cubanos en Estados Unidos.
De la entrevista con Castro, realizada por la reportera Paula Lavigne el pasado septiembre en La Habana, se conocieron algunos fragmentos en adelanto, a fines del 2013, con inusuales declaraciones respecto al acercamiento de las autoridades deportivas cubanas y los representantes de Grandes Ligas, así como a la posibilidad de que los peloteros considerados “desertores” puedan retornar y sumarse al equipo nacional en competencias internacionales.
Aunque en la reciente visita que realizaron a La Habana las ex luminarias de Grandes Ligas Ken Griffey Jr. y Barry Larkin el encuentro con las autoridades cubanas no se concretó y hasta más de un desaire tuvieron que enfrentar durante su estancia de cinco días en la isla, la entrevista con Castro resulta reveladora sobre una tendencia inevitable dentro de las altas esferas del deporte y el gobierno.
